Luke (17):
Some things are meant to be secret and not to be heard
So if I tell you, just keep it and don't say a word

"I love you," Luke groaned, pushing you back onto the bed and kissing you furiously. "So much."

You moaned in response, pulling his shirt off as he pressed you into the mattress, running his hands up your chest so you gasped. "Luke-"

"I love you," he interrupted, placing his lips on yours again and you melted under his touch and his words. The bed creaked loudly and you sat up suddenly as a loud voice sounded from downstairs.

"Y/N? What are you doing?"

"Shit, Michael's home?" you jumped up frantically, using all your resolve to pull away from Luke as you scrambled to make yourself look presentable.

"Quick!" you hissed loudly as your boyfriend looked around dumbly for his tee, which was thrown carelessly into one corner. "If Michael finds us, we're both dead."

"I'm not scared of Michael," Luke chuckled. "Maybe it's about time he found out we're together. It's been months."

"Well, I'm scared of Michael," you scoffed in reply. "And as far as he's concerned, we're barely even friends. This is one secret I'm not letting spill."

"Y/N, who are you talking to?" your brother began to climb the stairs, and you exchanged a frantic look with Luke, whose eyes were wide. Maybe he was more afraid than he was pretending.

"Fuck, I knew we should have done this at yours," you muttered, quickly racking your brain for a good excuse.

"Trust me, if Jack or Ben walked in we wouldn't hear the end of it," Luke said. "Anyway, you said Michael wasn't home?!"

"I said he was out, I didn't know he was coming back so early!" you snapped quietly as your door opened to reveal Michael's confused face, eyes narrowed as he jumped to conclusions - not that the conclusion was wrong in this case.

"Luke. What are you doing here?" he asked quietly, giving the terrified blond boy shark eyes.

"I came... for a book!" he decided quickly and you frowned at his poor excuse. "Yeah, I needed to borrow a book off you."

"Seriously?"

"Yeah, but... it's fine now. I've changed my mind."

"So why are you in my sister's room?"

"Oh, that... She was just... showing me her own books?"

"Yeah," you jumped in, hoping to save whatever this conversation was with your quick thinking. "Because I thought I might have what he was looking for, but it turns out I don't."

"Right..." Michael said slowly. "Well, Luke, do you want to come into my room and we can leave Y/N to do whatever she was doing?"

"Yeah!" Luke nodded too enthusiastically, but you were just relieved your brother didn't push further. He probably felt too awkward.

***
If these walls could talk, I'd hope they wouldn't say anything
Because they've seen way too many things
'Cause we'd fall from grace, we're falling
Yeah, we'd fall from grace
If these walls could talk

"It's been a year, baby," Luke mumbled as you both lay on a soft double bed in his hotel room, listening to the rush of cars zooming past the open window. "How long can we really keep it from Michael?"

You sighed. "I know. I'm just worried - it wouldn't be unlikely of Michael to force us to break up."

"Seriously though, what can he do? He doesn't control either of us." Luke started kissing up your neck, almost breaking your train of thought as you sighed contentedly.

"I'm only here with you on tour because he thinks I'm here to visit him. Which I am as well, obviously, but he could easily force me to leave. And he might stop talking to you or something, it would tear your friendship apart."

"Maybe you're overthinking it?" Luke kissed you softly, before breaking away and staring into your eyes. "He wouldn't break the band apart just because we're together."

"Ok, but he definitely wouldn't be happy knowing some of the things we've done," you blushed slightly as Luke smirked, trailing his hand up your thigh. "These walls have seen a lot, and we've only been here two days."

"It's a good thing they can't talk, they could go blabbing to your brother," Luke went along with your metaphor, then grinned. "Actually, that's not a bad song idea."

"What, 'the walls can't blab to your brother'?" you laughed, but were interrupted by a sharp knock at the door.

"Y/N, Luke? I know you're in there," Michael's voice echoed through the room. "I didn't need the walls to talk, they're thin enough to hear through. Now let me in, we need to talk."

You glanced at Luke and braced yourself for a talk that could make or break your relationship.
