Chapter 3 The Three Points Shot

🎶...I woke up in Chris Brown's body.. Somehow this shit turned into Freaky Friday..🎶

"Urgh!" irritable kong ungol habang nakapikit kong kinukuha ang aking cellphone sa ilalim ng aking unan. Isang mata kong tiningan kung sino ang natawag. It's Bradley. Asar kong pinindot ang answer button at  pikit matang nilagay sa aking kanang tenga.

"What the hell, Brad!!!!?????" angil ko agad sa kaniya. 

"Wake up, sleepyhead! We need to practice!" natatawang sagot nito sa kabilang linya.

"What practice?!" napadilat kong tanong sa kaniya.

"We have a game this weekend. Though we won last week, Coach wants us to practice to win over Valleyhill University." mahabang litanya nito. 

"What's the need?" rebatt ko rito. Tuluyan na akong napabangon sa aking narinig. "We won over Linden last week. In fact, one of their star player got injured. We had him injured. And we need to practice?! What for??" singhal ko pa sa kabilang linya.

"Just get your ass up! I'll see you in school. Samantha is calling." and his line ended.

'So it's Samantha this time.'  Yesterday, it's Alice. Last week, it's Vernice. Oh man! He's a real womanizer. I'd like to think that this is just a past time of him but it seems he's making it a habit. Poor girls.

I check my phone to see if there's a new message. Some of them are from my team mates na nagsasabing may practice nga. I only open one which is from Ashley.

"Good morning Hon. I have a schedule for yoga today. Hoped you could picked me up after? I missed you ." 

Text nito. I pressed the reply button and start typing in.

"We have practice. I will call you after if I can pick you up. I missed you too." I replied.

Ashley is my girlfriend. We've been together for three months. We met through a common friend and started dating since then.  We're studying at the same school. She's taking tourism while I'm taking Business Management. I already graduated with Architecture but my Dad wants me to handle the business so it leaves me no choice but to study again. My course is not related to our business so Dad wants me to take Management and start over. 

I got off my bed and walked straight on my closet. Pulled up a V-neck shirt and a boxer then went inside the bathroom. I took a quick shower, and prefer all the stuffs that I will need. After making sure that I got everything, lumabas na ako ng kwarto para umalis.

I saw Dad in Lanai. Sitting on his usual spot where he normally takes his coffee.

"Practice?" he asked when he noticed me. "Yeah, see you later Dad!" I tapped his shoulder at nagpatuloy ng maglakad papuntang garahe. I noticed my car is clean. Tiningnan ko pa ang ibang sasakyan sa garahe at mukhang ang mga ito ay bagong linis din.

"New bath, Vo!" insanely talking to the black Volvo. I hopped in and started the engine and drive my way to school.

Dahan dahan kong pinasok ang sasakyan sa loob ng gate ng eskwelahan. I saw Brad's car parked on the side of the Gym together with Ken's. Nandito na nga sila. I was about to drive straight there when somebody caught my attention. 

I'm seeing a girl riding on a Skateboard? Nakatalikod ito sa akin kaya hindi ko makita ang mukha nito. Masuyong nililipad ng hangin ang kanyang buhok. She's wearing a black converse partnered with a black jeans. Her top is a cream loose three fourth's.

"A Skateboard? Really?" di makapaniwalang tanong ko.

Patuloy ko itong sinusundan ng tingin ng bigla siyang kumanan sa Admin's Office.
