We drove down the road to school.

"Anybody else want Starbucks?" Angelica said pulling into the drive-thru.

"No. Thanks though, Angie." Eliza said.

"What about you, Peggy?" Angelica asked me.

"Um, can I get a vanilla frappuccino?"

"Do you have money?"

I sighed. "No."

"Then I guess not."

Eliza hit Angie lightly on the arm. "Come on, Ang!"

"I'm just kidding! When do I ever make you pay?" Angelica said laughing.

"Thanks, Angie!"

"No problem, baby sis." Angie always called me that. I'm not sure why because we had an actual 'baby sis', but I kind of liked it.

Angelica got our coffee and drove us to school. I walked to my locker sipping my coffee. I opened the lock and put my frappuccino on the shelf. I started grabbing my books for the first few periods until someone grabbed my coffee.

"Hey, what the fu-" I turned around. It was my best friend, Sally Hemmings. "Oh, hey, Sally!"

"Hey, Peggy." She said chugging my coffee.

"Woah, slow down there." I laughed.

"Sorry." She put it back on my shelf.

"Oh don't worry about it." I grabbed the rest of my books and we walked down the hall. Eliza saw us.

"Peggy! You can come to the party. Maria said you can bring a friend if you'd like. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to show the new kid around. Bye, Pegs. Bye, Sally." Eliza rushed down the hall. Everyone let her walk past without issue.

"So, do you want to come?"

"I don't know, Peggy."

"Come on, please."

"Peggy."

"It's Friday. Plus, you can sleepover tonight if you want."

"Okay, I guess I will go."

"Great. I'll see you in Algebra!"

"Bye." Sally walked into her homeroom. I walked down the hall to get to mine. I sat down and waited for the bell to ring.

Ring.

First period. History. We were learning about the American Revolution. It was pretty boring, but Mr. Washington made it seem less boring.

Ring.

Second period. Gym. We played dodge ball. Fun. Nobody would even try to throw a ball at me. I could have caught every one, but nobody wanted to hurt the popular girl.

Ring.

Third period. Algebra. I sat next to Sally.

"I asked my mom about the party." She said quietly.

"What did she say?"

"She said I could go as long as I didn't do anything stupid."

"Okay great! We will pick you up on our way there. I'll text you anything you need to know."

"Okay. Thanks, Peggy!"

"Yeah. No problem."

We sat through Algebra. We were simplifying polynomials. It was really easy and kind of fun.

Ring.

Fourth period. Art. Sally and I walked down together and sat next to each other at a table in the back. We were painting portraits. Sally was painting the Eiffel Tower, and I was painting the New York City skyline.

Ring.

Fifth period. Biology. Sally and I split up. In biology, we were learning about photosynthesis. It was going great until we watched this dumb song about it.

Ring.

Sixth period. Lunch. I sat down at the table with Angelica, John, Lafayette, and Hercules. We waited for Eliza to come.

Eliza walked up to the table. "Hi everybody! This is-"

"My name is Alexander Hamilton. You can call me Alex." He was a little taller than Eliza with black hair pulled back in a ponytail.

"Angelica Schuyler." Angie said with a smile.

"Schuyler?" Alex asked.

"My sister." Eliza answered.

"And I'm Peggy Schuyler. I'm another sister."

"I'm Lafayette or Laf for short."

"Hercules Mulligan."

John stared at him. His green eyes beaming. I nudged him. "Oh, I'm John. John Laurens." His cheeks were a little pink, so we're Angelica's and Eliza's.

"It's nice to meet you all." He sat down next to Eliza.

We all started eating when Angelica pulled me and Eliza aside. "He's cute." She said.

"He's mine." Eliza responded.

"Are you dating?" I asked.

"Well, no." Eliza said sadly.

"We can change that!" Angelica walked back to the table. Eliza and I followed. "Hey, Alex, there's a party tonight. We're all going. Do you want to go?"

"Oh, sure. That sounds like fun."

"Great! We can pick you up if you'd like."

"Wait, I told Sally we'd pick her up too." I said.

"Peggy! Whatever, it's fine. We will all fit." Angelica was upset, and not with me. She loved Eliza so much she gave up a boy for her. Damn. I would never do that.

Rereading this I realized I forgot about Peggy's frappuccino cup in her locker, so instead of fixing it maybe it will make a cameo in a later chapter!?
