A few more hours passed by, and Angelica, Eliza, Maria, Sally, Theodosia, and I were sitting in Angie and Eliza's room.
"Okay, let's see. Who's first?" I asked standing in front of them.
They looked at each other then all raised their hands.
"Of course." I sighed. "How about we go youngest to oldest."
"Okay." Sally said. "But who gets to dress you?"
"Whoever I decide to pick."
"So Maria." Eliza said.
"No whoever is the easiest to work with."
"So Maria." Angelica said.
"No whoever is the nicest to me."
"So Maria." Sally said.
"No! Whoever is the least difficult."
"So Maria." Theo said.
"Jesus Christ! No! Whoever doesn't annoy me!"
"So Maria." The four of them said.
"No! My god!"
"Come on, babes, you'll pick me." Maria laughed.
"No I won't!"
"Jesus! Calm yourself, baby sis." Angie said.
"Sally, stay. Everyone else, downstairs." Everyone went down the steps leaving me with my best friend. I wrapped my arms around her.
"What's this for?" Sally laughed.
"I'm sorry for pushing you away."
"Peggy, it's fine, I understand. I mean it's really only been nine days." She laughed.
"It has? It's felt more like two months!" I said pulling away.
"Yeah, really."
"Well then. Let's get started, shall we?" I said standing up. "What style were you thinking?"
"I want something edgy."
"Edgy? Sally, the lamb, Hemmings wants something edgy." I said staring at her.
"A lot has happened in two months!"
"Shut up! I said throwing a pillow at her.
"I'm kidding, jeez." She laughed. "I don't want something edgy; you should know better."
"So I'm assuming a dress then."
"Yep!" She smiled.
I walked to Eliza's closet. I found the blue t-shirt dress Eliza had worn before. "Here." I said handing it to her.
She put it on. "How do I look?"
"Beautiful. Now hair and makeup. Sit." I put her hair into two small braids, pulled them back, and curled the rest. I just did natural makeup because she already looked amazing. I went into my room and grabbed my white Vans. "Now put these on and you're done."
