"Yes, I have issues, but that's not the point!" Alex said crossing his arms. He looked to Eliza. "Proud of me? I didn't argue!"
She smiled. "You may be a child, but you sure are adorable." She kissed his cheek.
He wrapped his arm around her. "I love you."
"I love you too."
"I get the sweatshirt!" John said jumping over to it.
"No, you don't, Jackie." Alex said snatching it from his hands.
John looked down at his now empty hands before looking to Alex. "Why not?" He sat down pouting.
"Because it's Eliza's that's why."
"Well thank you." She smiled.
"Ew. Stop being straight!" John complained.
"I'll be whatever the hell I want to be, John." Alex replied.
"Did you just call him John?" I asked suprised.
"That's his name, isn't it?"
"It's just you normally call him Jackie."
"So I'm obligated to call him that now?"
"No. Calm yourself."
"I will do no such thing."
"Alexander, you can calm down jusy a bit." Eliza said looking to him.
"Sorry."
"Don't be sorry; be calm!" She smiled at her remark.
Alex laughed. "Don't go turning into Angelica on me."
"I won't; I promise."
Alex smirked and kissed her head.
I reached over and grabbed Maria's hand. She leaned over to kiss my cheek, but her phone went off.

Maria grabbed my hand and pulled me upstairs. "What do you want, John?"
"I need help coming up with something witty to say. Alex apparently likes that." He frowned.
"John, hon, it's not always what you say." She said. "It's how you deliver." The last part she said differently. A good different. A sorta different that I couldn't quite explain other than the fact that I loved it.
"Holy shit. I'm gay as fuck and that turned me on."
"Exactly." She said the same way.
"Stop it!"
"Sorry." She said normally. "It's works like a charm though."
"It does?" I asked her.
"Obviously, hon."
Then I realized. Hon. I loved how she said it before. That was how she said it! I stood there staring at her with my mouth open trying to process what just happened. She delivered on me. That makes no sense at all and sounds terrible.
"Oh snap!" John shouted before laughing hysterically.
I rolled my eyes. "So you used that on me?" I asked turning to Maria.
"Yeah. I liked you, and I figured you and John weren't dating anymore or wouldn't be for much longer, so I took the chance to get in your head before I even broke up with James."
"So I'm the reason you were abused?" I covered my mouth with my hand.
Maria shook her head and moved my hand away. "No. James was out of his fucking mind. He just couldn't bare that his girlfriend didn't like being used." She squeezed my hand gently. "It's not your fault."
"Okay. I love you both, but can we focus?" John said tapping my shoulder.
"Sorry, Gay Boy. We will focus." I apologized.
"So I'm supposed to change how I deliver what I'm saying?"
"Yes." Maria answered. "It can either be by manipulating your voice or by your body language."
"Cool. Got it." He said. "I'll tell you how it goes." He winked and ran down the steps.
"So do we just wait here or?" I asked.
"It's John. He'll mess up."
"But I want to see it and make fun of him!"
"Well, him explaining it will be even better."
"Especially if he cries." I really was an evil person.
Okay. After the next chapter I think I'm just going to a time skip to a few days before Halloween because this story is just a bunch of fillers. I also need some ideas to get me to December/Christmas and June because I have certain events that need to happen and I'm running out of ideas. Bye!
