We all walked into Maria's house.
"John, Herc, Laf, and the Schuyler Sisters- Angelica, Eliza, and Peggy!" Maria exclaimed. Did you catch what she said? She said, "and Peggy." Everyone does. "Oh, I know you." She pointed to Sally. "You're Sally, right?"
Sally nodded.
Maria looked at Alex. "I don't know you."
"I'm Alex."
"Well it's nice to meet you!"
Herc, Laf, John, and Alex went straight to get drinks.
Angie and Eliza started talking to some of their friends.
And Sally and I sat down on the couch. Someone walked up to us.
"Looking good, girls!" It was Thomas. Thomas Jefferson.
"Leave us alone!"
"Come on, Pegs! Don't be like that!"
"Don't call me that!"
"Damn are you sassy?"
I looked away from him.
"Who's your friend?" He sat down next to Sally.
"I'm Sally Hemmings." She blushed.
"Well, I'll see you later, Sally Hemmings." He smiled creepily and walked to his friend, James.
"He's hot." Sally said.
"He's trouble. Stay away from him!"
"John isn't exactly peaches and cream himself now is he?"
"At least he isn't in college!"
"Thomas, is in college?"
"Yes!"
"Why is he here?"
"He knows Maria and can legally buy beer."
"He's 21?"
"Yes, so stay away." How could she like that piece of shit?
Eliza came up to us. "Hey guys!"
"Hey!" Sally said.
"Can I sit with you guys?"
"Of course, Liza. What's wrong?" I was concerned.
"Angie left to go hang out with Martha."
"Manning?"
"Yeah."
"Isn't she the one who likes John?" Sally asked.
"Yes, she is. She's a bitch."
"Calm yourself, Peggy."
