Sunday:

After a few hours of playing and hanging out, we decided  (those of us still up or here at least) would go to sleep because it was five in the morning. I, fortunately, wasn't drunk; I didn't drink anything actually. Anyways, Maria and James slept in her room and Herc, Laf, Sally, Angie, Alex, Eliza, John, and I all slept in the living room. Herc and Laf were already passed out on the floor because, you know, they were drunk. Sally was passed out too, but, once again, it was five in the morning. For a small girl, she must have had some secret for taking up an entire fucking couch. Guess we'd be sleeping on the floor!

"So, we are sleeping on the floor?" Alex asked.

"I guess." John answered.

Of course, all we had was the ground. No pillows. No blankets. Just the ground. We could've asked Maria, but God only knows what was happening at the moment.

John laid down next to me. He folded his sweatshirt up for us to use as a pillow. How sweet!

"Good night, beautiful." He said before kissing me.

"Good night, cutie."

He wrapped his arm around me. It felt nice. I looked over at Alex and Eliza; Eliza was already asleep, and Alex was holding her. They were a cute couple. Angie laid down by herself. I wished she had someone, but she didn't need a man. I felt myself starting to drift asleep until I finally was.

I woke up around 8. Nobody else was up.

Laf and Herc were still asleep on the floor.

Sally was curled up in a ball on the couch.

Eliza was still asleep, but Alex wasn't there. Now that I thought of it, I didn't feel John's arm around me either. I figured he just rolled over, but when I turned around, he wasn't there. This wasn't good. Maybe they left. But why would they leave?

I just got up and walked down the hall to the bathroom. I took the hair tie off of my wrist and pulled it back into a low ponytail. As I got closer to the bathroom, I noticed the light was on. I leaned against the wall thinking someone was in there. I pulled my phone out of my pocket and texted John.

Where are you?

He opened, but he didn't respond.

I went to open the door. It was locked. I didn't think too much about it. I walked back down the hall and laid down on the opposite end of the couch. I tried to fall back asleep, and pretty soon, I was asleep.

When I woke up, Alex, John, Eliza, Angie, and Sally were all talking. I walked up to them. "Hey, guys." I sat next to John

"Good morning, Pegs." John said kissing my forehead.

"You finally woke up. I started to think you were dead." Angelica laughed.

"Well, I woke up around 8ish." Everyone shared nervous glances. "John wasn't next to me or answering my texts, so I fell back asleep on the couch."

John bit his lip.

"Speaking of which. Why didn't yo answer my texts?"

"Because I, um, was, getting these." He opened the box of donuts. "Alex came with me."

"Yeah, we were both up, and I wanted, well needed, coffee." Alex added.

"But you opened them."

"Yeah, I'm sorry about that. Alex took my phone."

"But you could've responded when you got it back."

"You're right. I'm sorry."

"It's fine."

"Can we just eat?" Eliza said.

We all grabbed donuts. Before we knew it, Laf and Herc were with us. Maria and James still were in her room. There was only a 40% chance they were sleeping. Okay, maybe 10%.

But anyway, why were they all acting weird? John did something; I just knew it! Why wouldn't he just tell me? Was he cheating on me? But wait. Where was Alex? They definitely didn't get donuts! If they did, why would everyone look at each other? Was he cheating on me with Alex? Come on, Peggy; don't be ridiculous!

Everyone sat down. There were 5 chairs and 8 of us. Laf and Herc sat on the counter leaving me without a seat. I went to sit up on the counter, but Alex stopped me.

"What are you doing?" He asked.

"Sitting down. What the fuck does it look like I'm doing?" I hopped up next to Herc.

"Why are you sitting on the counter? There is a perfectly fine seat at the table."

"Aren't you supposed to be some sort of genius?"

"As a matter of fact, I am." He wrapped his arms around me to pick me up.

"What the hell?" I pushed away.

"Alexander!" Eliza shouted.

"Please, I know what I'm doing." Alex assured Eliza. He picked me up even with me pushing him away.

"There are no seats left, dipshit!"

"Yes there is." He walked up to John and winked. What the fuck?

"Alex, what are you doing?" John asked. "Put her down."

"Well if you insist!" He put me down on John's lap.

John wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Haha. Very funny. You seriously planned this?"

"Yeah." John said.

"It was elaborate but pointless."

"Not really."

"Mhm."

"It felt bad for last night. You know, when I flipped out about your outfit?"

"When you said I looked like a slut and said that Maria's fucked every boy in the school? How could I forget?"

"I wanted to make it up to you."

"Me sitting on your lap is making it up to me?"

"It seemed like a better plan this morning. I'm sorry. I wanted to seem like a good boyfriend." He sighed.

"John, you already are a great boyfriend."

He pulled me into a hug. Everyone awed. I flipped them all off.
