Friday:

Next Friday was our homecoming game, so tomorrow John was having a party. As of right now, I was standing in another's school's field freezing to death without Maria by my side. I just wanted it to be halftime so I could see her.

We were winning so far. As of now, we were undefeated. I mean we only had two games before this. We were still undefeated.

It was finally halftime. I rushed over to the bleachers where Maria was sitting. I wrapped myself up in my coat.

She kissed my forehead. "You're doing great out there, love."

"It's not the same without you next to me." I pouted.

"Well, I'm next to you now." She laughed wrapping her arms around me.

"I know." I kissed her cheek.

"You should get back out there."

"But I'm warm here." I whined.

"But you're captain and your sub is injured."

"Fine." I threw my jacket off.

She leaned in and kissed me. "Good luck, love."

"Thanks." I ran down to the field. I looked back at her. She waved at me. Now I just wanted the game to be over. I did enough flips, splits, aerials, and back handsprings for the entire cheer squad.

When the game was over, John ran up to me. "Hey, Pegs."

"Hi." I said hugging him. "You did great."

"So did you."

"You watched me?"

"You're my best friend. Why wouldn't I?"

"Because you're supposed to be playi- Wait I'm your best friend."

"Second. Alex is first."

"Well you are fourth." I laughed.

He gasped.

"Sorry, but Sally, Maria, and Lia come before you."

"What about 'sisters first'?"

"Lia's my sister. I mean she's not included even though she should be, but they don't count as best friends. Well not to me anyways."

"Well, I should find Alex and Eliza. Bye."

"Bye."

"Wait. I almost forgot."

"What?"

"Kinky." He smiled and ran off.

Maria hopped up to me and handed me my jacket. "Ready to go home?"

"Yeah." I sighed putting on my jacket.

"Why are you so upset? You'll be warm at home!"

"But I won't be with you."

Maria sighed. "Do you want me to come over?"

"Mhm."

"Alright, love."

I wrapped my arms her neck. "Good. "

We walked around the field until we found Angie and Eliza.

"We are still taking Maria home, right?" Angie asked.

"No, she's spending the night." I said.

"Oh, alright. Let's go."

We walked to the car, and Maria sat in the back. She held my hand the whole ride home.

I'm sorry this is only a filler. I know I haven't been updating much, but I started high school today (I'm a freshman whee! ((I am definitely not popular, but I'm not a loser like Rich was))), and I will have play rehearsal (Christiiiiine is quaking) starting in October (It's Halloween time), so I won't be updating much at all. I will try to update as much as possible though. I'm also going to start publishing chapters for my crossover book. If you happen to care or are even reading this, my crossover book is called "Chasing Rebels". It is a Hamilton, Heathers, Dear Evan Hansen, and Be More Chill crossover with a little bit of Anastasia because I needed another character. So feel free to check that book out! Bye guys!
