John smiled. "Are you sure?"

"John! Stop being kinky you gay fuck!" I shouted at him.

"Fuck you, Pegs!"

"Fuck you, 'Jackie'!"

"You're not allowed to call him that!" Alex said pointing to me.

"Oh shut up, slut."

"No, but can we like not play 7 minutes anymore?"

"Yeah, can we?"

"I don't care." John said. "I had Eliza."

"Rude." Eliza said punching him lightly. "It's fine because I had Levi."

"I had Thomas." Maria said.

"And I had Peggy." Alex said laughing.

"What?" I said.

"I had you." Alex said. "Come on, let's go inside."

We walked back inside to the sight of people drinking, smoking, and some other things. The five of us went up to John's room so we didn't have to deal with it.

John tried to open the door. "It's locked."

"What?" Alex asked. "Let me see." He punched to door, and it didn't open. "Fuck! Yeah, it's locked."

"You're fucking stupid." I laughed.

"What? I wanted to make sure John wasn't trying to lie to us."

"Why the hell would I lie about the door being locked?" John asked.

"I don't know! Maybe you're hiding something!"

"What would I be hiding?"

"I don't fucking know! Gay porn maybe?"

"Alex, we were seriously just in there like 10 minutes ago." Maria said.

"Oh, right."

"Wait." He took a bobby pin out of my hair to unlock the door. "Laf? Herc? Get out! Be gay somewhere else!"

"We weren't doing anything bad, mon amie. Laf said.

"I don't care. You can still do some gay shit, I don't care, just find somewhere else."

"Damnit, Laurens." Herc said as they walked past us.

We walked in. "Now what?" John asked as he fell onto his bed.

I fell back next to him. "Yeah, now what?"

"John, if only you weren't gay." Alex sighed.

"What?" John asked confused.

"Yeah, you and Peggy would be so cute if you were still together." Maria said.

"Oh yeah." Alex said.

"Maria!" I said sitting up.

"Alex!" John said sitting up.

"Sorry, babes, but it's true." Maria said.

"No it's not! Nothing would have stopped John from being gay as fuck, and we would end up together no matter what!"

"Well-" Alex said.

"Oh, right."

"What?" Maria asked.

"Alex forced John to cheat."

"You did?" Eliza asked.

Alex sighed. "Yes."

"You're a terrible person!" Eliza said.

"It's not my fault!" Alex said.

"Oh shut up! You know it is!" I said.

"So it's my fault you're dating Maria?" Alex asked.

"Kind of. I mean James obviously had something to do with it to, but you did play a small part in it."

"Well then."

Theo and Aaron walked in holding hands. "Peggy." Theo said softly.

"Yeah? Wait. Are you dating?"

"Yes, but that's not why we came to you." Aaron said.

"Then why are you here?"

"It's Sally." Theo said.

"What's wrong?" I felt myself tense up.

"She's um high."

"Sally Hemmings? No. She would never-"

"Thomas asked her to." Aaron said.

"That little bitch. Where is he?"

"Downstairs."

I ran down the steps and found them. "What the fuck did you do to my best friend you fucking dick?"

"Oh, you mean Sally? We're just having a little fun, Pegs." Thomas said.

"Don't call me that! Sally come on."

"Oh hi, Peggy!" She laughed.

"Hi. Come on let's get you away from him." I grabbed her arm.

"Peggy, no! I'm having fun."

"Mhm. Come on."

"Let her stay, Pegs!"

"Don't call me that! And she's not staying anywhere alone with you!" I picked up Sally. "Fight me all you want, Sally, but you're coming with me." I brought her upstairs. "You better not leave!"

"But, Peggy!"

"No!"
