I sat up as I heard Maria and Eliza's footsteps as they came down the steps.

John pushed Alex to the ground in a panic, but ended up falling on top of him.

Eliza stopped talking to Maria and looked over to the boys.

"Shit." John said. That was the only thing that he was able to say. He looked terrified.

"What are you guys doing?" Eliza asked throwing Alex's sweatshirt on the ground. She took a few steps closer crossing her arms across her chest. "Huh?"

"Eliza. We're sorry." Alex said seeing John's expression.

"Oh you should be sorry." She said still seeming upset. Then her expression changed completely. She started laughing. "For not including me."

"Wait what?" John asked looking at her in shock. "You're- you're not mad?"

"No."

"Thank god!" He said relieved as he rolled over onto the floor.

"Do you like actually want to be included?" Alex asked in all seriousness. "That would be hard."

John laughed. "Hard?"

I laughed. "Would be bad."

"Bad?"

"Would be rough."

John inhaled before shouting, "Kinky!"

The two of us started laughing hysterically.

"I'm sorry what?" Alex asked confused.

"It's from Dear Evan Hansen." Maria said. "You wouldn't understand."

"No fucking shit; that's kinda why I asked?"

"You are impossible to work with. Did ya know that?" I said.

"I am the easiest person to work with in the world."

"Yep." Eliza said laughing slightly.

"I am!"

"Alexander, sweetheart, you kind of punched Thomas in the face at the debate thing after school because he refused to get you your water that was two desks away."

"He was being a dick!"

"No, you were being unreasonable."

"I disagree."

"You do know you're not always right, right?"

"What? Of course I am."

"That's a great joke, Alex!" I laughed.

"You know what? Fuck you, Pegs, because you know I'm always right."

"Wait, was I supposed to know that?"

"You're the one that's imposible to work with!"

"While that is true, sometimes, you are way more difficult." John said.

"Aw, Jackie! Not you too!" He whined.

"Alex, just get over it!" Maria said.

"Yeah. You're not always right; you're just always opinionated." I said.

"Lies." He laughed.

"Alexander." Eliza said sitting next to him. "You know I love you, very much, it's just-" She grabbed his hand. "-you don't have to be right over every single thing. Sure, no one likes being wrong, but being wrong isn't a bad thing. I mean, I understand it's just half of the time, you're wrong."

"I guess you're right." He smiled at her. "But that still means half of the time I'm right, right?"

Liza laughed. "Yes, it does. Don't take advantage of it."

"I won't." He kissed Eliza's cheek.

"He will." I whispered loudly into Maria's ear.

"What was that, Margarita?" Alex asked with some sass.

I cringed at the sound of my name. I hated it. And I mean hated it. "Ew. Don't call me that."

"Why not, Margarita?"

Ugh, god! Why did I have to be named that? "Ew. Stop."

"I want to know what you said, Margarita!"

"Stop!" I shouted. "I'll throw my shoe at you!"

"And I'll throw it back at you, Margarita."

"You are honestly dead." I started to unlace my Converse.

"Fine. I'll stop." He said putting his hands up.

"Good." I smiled as I tied my shoe.

"Why don't you like being called that?" John asked. "I used to call you that."

"And I'm pretty sure I called you that too." Maria added.

"When you say Margarita Schuyler, it's somewhat acceptable I suppose. When you just say-" I couldn't even say it. "-my first name, it's like nails on a chalk board."

"Sorry," Alex paused. "Margarita."

"You know what?" I took off my shoe and threw it at him.

"What is with you and the shoe throwing?" Alex asked holding his head. "It hurts."

"As it should."

"Is there something I can do to not have shoes thrown at me?"

Oh, he did not know what he was signing up for. "There may be something."

"I'm very scared, but willing to do it."

"Well, this should be fun." I muttered. I was an evil person. Eh, who cares?

"What?"

"Oh, nothing." I had big plans. Well not big, but it was something he wouldn't like. At all.

Alex moved his hand from his head. "Holy fuck! I'm bleeding!"

"Let me see."  He showed me his hand and sure enough, there was blood. "Well damn."

"You have some issues."

"And you don't?"
