"So what are you guys going to be?" I asked Theo. I genuinely wanted to know. I mean why would Alex need black hair and to cut it? And why did Alex get mad John wasn't going to cut his? It didn't make sense.
"I can't tell you; it's a secret." She said.
I went through the rest of lunch trying to figure out what they were going to be. John kept getting upset that Alex and Laf weren't going to cut their hair, but they both made the argument that he wasn't either. Laf also said he would die his hair partially white even though he didn't want to. Herc seemed to be the only one who wasn't a problem. Then John tried to convince Theo to cut her hair. She said no too. Jesus! What was with the hair cutting?
When I got to my advanced writing class Alex kept trying to get my attention.
