3rd Person POV

They all made it outside in a blinded hurry. As they reached the curb on the opposite side of the street, their luck only seemed to be worsening…

There was a massive explosion originating from the front room. The Avengers were deafened as the house that Tony had been spending his last few months went up in a fiery inferno. The house was completely engulfed in merciless shades blasts of red and orange that tore at it. The windows cracked and the walls blackened and the fire showed no sign of dying. For all they knew, it could have kept burning until it was nothing but ash. There was nothing that they could do but cower at the immense heat it was so carelessly giving off.

“Well that escalated quickly.” Bruce stated.

“So, she planted a bomb? How could she have done that right under your noses? She didn’t look like she had anything on her back at the Tower.” Clint questioned.

“When we were in the kitchen,” Tony mumbled, “you saw her, didn’t you Doctor? She was touching all the furniture and snooping around, she did it then. Lots of tiny explosives.” He said with a defeated tone. While the Doctor nodded solemnly.

“What I wanna know is how the hell JARVIS didn’t pick them up?” Bruce asked.

“She most likely got them from the Tower, some of my tech, completely untraceable.”

“But if it’s your invention, then why couldn’t you detect it?” Thor tried.

“Well obviously he’s got people over there who knows what they’re doing; people who can change it a bit so even JARVIS can’t detect it. Besides, in that house I had to build everything from scratch, and he was faulty, slow, he wouldn’t work well at the best of times.” Tony took a deep breath. “And now I’ve got to start from scratch again thanks to you.” He directed towards the Doctor.

“What?” He said, raising an eyebrow.

“You, who wouldn’t believe me, you were positive that she was fine, just traumatised by the events that occurred to her.” He accused. The Doctor raised both his eyebrows and took a step back.

“It wasn’t my idea to send her in there in the first place! Yes, I’ll admit, I should’ve realised something was wrong-” Tony scoffed, “-but I was just scared and it won’t happen again. I’m sorry what happened to your house. I’m sorry for what happened to all of you during these months, no one deserves this, not the Earth’s mightiest heroes. So if you’re going to blame anyone, Tony, blame Loki.” Tony looked back at him with a small smile.

“Yeah, I think it’s time I have my Tower back.”

“Well it better be because my TARDIS is still up there.” To this Bruce and Clint made confused looks.

“Your what?” Clint laughed.

“My TARDIS, it’s a blue police box… travels through time and space… makes a weird whooshing noise?”  The Doctor tried, getting nothing but odd looks in return from the two of them. “Ugh, doesn’t matter right now, you’ll see it later.” The Doctor sighed.
