Chapter 23

Sams POV

The twins were to be born any day now and my mom and dad were super excited, and constantly fussing over me like I'm three. Allison told me dad had done it to her with all three kids and even though it had annoyed her as much as it annoys me, she seemed to be doing it anyway. Luckily, Colby wasn't as bad, and he could tell my parents were driving me crazy so he found excuses to get them to leave me alone. And those times it was just the two of us, which made me feel calm and happy, not stressed out because of my parents. And right now was one of those moments. Colby was sitting next to me as he ran his fingers through my hair, watching me with soft loving eyes.

"Are you excited to meet Jayden and Elizabeth?" I asked and he nodded, kissing the top of my head.

"I can't wait to see what beautiful angels we have created." I smiled and closed my eyes, imagining it. I imagined then being tiny and slowly watching them grow up, watching Jayden and Elizabeth have their first crush, their first dance their graduations, all of it. Colby and I would actually get to raise a family. I was laying in our room while he was sitting next to me, running his fingers through my hair and looking at me with beautiful bright eyes. I reached up and caressed his cheek as I smiled and looked at him.

"You are so beautiful" I whispered

"Not as beautiful as you." He said, and I smiled blushing slightly. As I was looking into his eyes I smiled, but then suddenly felt deep pain in my stomach and I groaned squinting my eyes shut.

"Sam? Hey Sammy you okay?" Colby asked nervously and ally must have been outside the door because she opened it and walked inside fast. She knelt on the other side of me and grabbed my hand.

"Pain?" She asked me and I nodded "how bad?"

"Really bad" I was just barely able to get out as I groaned again. She looked up at Colby then with soft eyes

"Go her mom" he nodded and ran off as I was still in pain. She held my hand tightly and looked at me with a smile. "It's time"

Devyns POV

We had finally finished setting up the surprise for the boys and the twins when my phone rang. I walked out into the hall and answered the phone when I saw it was Colby.

"Hey Colby what's up?"

"Sams having the twins now"

"Wait really?"

"Yes really! If you guys want to be here for that get on the next flight to Kansas."

"Okay see you soon" I hung up the phone and ran back to everyone else to tell them the news. Then we all bought plane tickets and threw our bags in the car, driving as fast as we could to the airport. After we went through security we were running through the terminal to catch our flight, which left in five minutes. We made it just before the door closed, and relaxed once we were sitting in our seats.

"Sams having the twins" Amanda squealed in excitement once we were on the plane. I nodded and we were gossiping while the boys sat across from us laughing.

"I have a feeling Jayden will be easily corrupt by his uncles" I said looking over at the boys.

"True but the question is who will treat him what? Will he be scared of ghosts and shit, not believe in them at all, or believe in them and be curious about them." Amanda said

"Believe in them, and spend their time scaring Corey" I responded

"God no," Corey groaned as he covered his face with his hands. We laughed and continued to tease him on the flight to Kansas. Once we landed I texted Colby asking where they were. Once I got the address we called and Uber and had her drive us. We got there about three hours after Sam had been in labor, and Ben came out to see us. He smiled and hugged each of us before we all sat down.

"How is he?" I asked.

"Well he's in labor, so a lot of pain, but Colby's doing a really good job with getting him through it. I just can't be near that shit, it makes my stomach churn" we laughed and looked at him with soft eyes

"I understand that" Jake said "and it's one thing for a girl, but it's a whole other thing with a guy"

"Yea" Elton said "but either way it's a blessing"

"Exactly." We started talking and laughing for a few hours, but once it hit the sixth hour Ben and Elton started pacing, I was tapping my foot, Corey was humming some tune and Amanda was drumming on her legs. We ended up coming up with a song to distract us from the nerves from how long, and after a total of eight hours Sams mom came out.

"You guys can come see them now if you want." We all smiled happily and hopped up as we followed her to the hospital room.

Sams POV

It had been a very long, and painful birth, but it was completely worth it. Jayden and Elizabeth were so beautiful, Jayden with his brunette hair and Elizabeth with her blond hair. Once they were cleaned up and everything the nurses handed them to me, one in a pastel blue blanket and the other in a pastel pink blanket. I held them close to me as I looked at them with loving eyes as I took deep breaths, trying to regain myself after giving birth to them. Elizabeth had been born a whole minute before Jayden had, I knew she would hold that against him a little bit. After holding both of them for a few minutes, I carefully passed Jayden to Colby who looked completely in love.

"Hi little Jayden" He whispered softly as he pet his head "Welcome to this crazy world little man." I smiled then looked down at Elizabeth and smiled.

"Hey there little princess" I cooed as I moved the blanket out of her face a little "you know your going to be super spoiled, I mean you probably already know that but I thought I would tell you." I watched as she slowly opened her eyes and smile which made me smile. Once Colby and I had switched and held them for a little while,Colby handed Elizabeth to Allison who awwwed softly and started to walk around the room with her.

"You are so precious." I heard her say. "And your auntie A is gonna spoil you like crazy" I laughed lightly as I gently pet Jayden's hair while Colby filled out the birth certificates. Then the hospital door opened revealing the rest of my family, both immediate and trap house. They had made it, they were all here to welcome the twins to the world. All of them walked over and hugged us and congratulated us. Once we had all finished talking about me and the labor I looked at my friends.

"I'm really glad all of you were able to make it. And there's something I need to ask Elton and Devyn." I think they knew what I was gonna ask as they both looked at me and gave each other's hand a small squeeze making me smile. "So Colby and I have thought about this a lot and at first we talked about my family but I thought doing our family would be better. So, Devyn and Elton......will you guys be Elizabeth's godparents." They smiled and agreed as they hugged us again. Then colby looked at Amanda and Corey.

"So now I have a question for you two. Corey and Amanda.....will you be Jayden's god parents?" They also agreed and hugged us before they all circled around us and we all hugged. I smiled and sighed before Ally and Ben walked over with the twins. I had given Ben Jayden when he came in with the others.

"Do you guys wanna hold the twins?" I asked and they nodded. Ben handed Jayden to Amanda, and Ally handed Elizabeth to Elton. They cooed over both of them and looked for similarities, besides the hair color. Colby sat on the bed next to me and kissed me softly.

"They're so beautiful" I said as I smiled

"Not as beautiful as you" i blushed at his words and giggled, though I felt a bit of deshavoo. I didn't care though, we had beautiful twins and a loving family to help us take care of them. This was gonna be good.
