Chapter 12

Sams POV

"It's......" I started as I took a deep breath before I looked at the test and couldn't help but smile. I looked up and Colby and he was standing right in front of me looking at me with soft eyes.

"It's what?"

"It's positive" I said as my smile only grew as I showed it to him and his eyes grew wide as he smiled "I'm pregnant"

"Oh my god" he said before hugging me tightly and I giggled hugging him back "oh my god. Your-we're- gonna have a baby." I nodded and sighed happily as I clung to him tightly. I couldn't believe it, and I couldn't be happier about it. I was scared as hell but I was also excited. Devyn knocked on the door a few seconds later and it was a soft, nervous knock.

"Sam? What is it?" She asked softly. Colby pulled enough to look at me with bright eyes as he brushed my hair out of my face

"Come on, let's go tell them" he whispered softly and I nodded taking his hand as he lead me out of the bathroom. The two of us put on neutral faces as we walked out to meet Corey, Devyn, Amanda and Elton, who were all standing in the tiny hallway just outside of the bathroom.

"So...?" Amanda asked and I could here the small amount of hope in her voice. I looked up at Colby who nodded and tried to hide his smile before I turned back to face everyone. And I couldn't help but grin as I told them the good news.

"Oh my god!" Devyn squealed as she hugged me and Amanda was bouncing around in excitement. "That's amazing you two!" I hugged her back tightly as Corey and Elton were talking to Colby. I don't know when, but there had been a silent agreement that I was the more feminine one in our relationship, and clearly it was continuing that way but I didn't mind. I loved every second of it.

We had all walked downstairs and sat on the couch. Devyn, Amanda and I were sitting on one end together and started talking and giggling over what the baby might be and how fun it would be to dress him or her up in pretty things and show him or her off to the fans. Colby Corey and Elton were sitting on the other end joking about schedules for gaming and watching games, and all the things they would do if the baby was a boy. It was funny to me to see how normal this all was. The only real thing that would need to be different to make this a "normal" family was me being a actual girl. And I would have never had guessed that the roommates would be this excited and into colby and I having a baby, but I think that made this easier.

"You know we have to take him or her exploring though right?" Elton asked with a smile as he looked at me. "He or she has to follow in his families footsteps." I laughed and smiled

"He or she will be the next one to take over TFIL when you quit YouTube. And he or she will get a group of friends like ours and force them to go to all kinds of sketchy places to make videos. Just like his uncle." Elton grinned and Colby laughed.

"Now that will be cool to see." We all nodded in agreement and then went back to our own group conversations. The boys were planning time to turn the spare room into a nursery while the girls and I talked about shopping for the baby and making a wish list. This was the happiest I had been since Colby and I started dating.

Colby's POV

While I was talking with the others, something started tugging at my brain, something I was supposed to remember, that was supposed to be really important. I actually had to stop listening to their conversation to focus on the thought trying to push its way through. It was a memory from this morning.

"You can try to protect them, but you will never see them again"

The words rang in my ears like she had just poke them and it made me stiffen slightly. Shea had known about the baby before I had, she had threatened Sam and the baby because I wouldn't break up with him. I felt Corey's hand on my shoulder and it made me jump, jarring me from my thoughts.

"Hey man, are you okay?" Corey asked in a soft voice as he looked at me. I simply shook my head and ran my fingers through my hair.

"Something happened this morning, before sam got up, before he got sick, before any of this. And now that I know what it means it makes me terrified."

"What happened Colby?" Elton asked in a serious voice. I looked up at him and my eyes were filled with fear and sadness as I took a deep breath.

"I woke up before sam did this morning and I had walked downstairs to grab Advil since I was hurting this morning. When I walked downstairs she's was in our living room. She told me that they would be in danger if I didn't break up with Sam. I didn't know what she meant by they, I thought she was just screwing with me. When I told her that her threats meant nothing, that I would protect sam she simply smiled at me and told me I would never see them again. And-" I bit my lip as I looked at my hands, feeling guilt and fear and pain rushing through me all at once. "And now I know what she meant by they" Elton and Corey were looking at me wide eyed understanding exactly what I meant. I glanced over at sam and the girls and they were looking at me with concern, but Sam looked nervous.

"What did she mean by they?" He asked his voice shaking. It was clear he was trying to deny it, but he knew what she meant. I looked at him as I held back tears and I clenched my hands into fists.

" you and the baby" I started softly "you and the baby are in serious danger."
