They got back to the Metropolitan Hotel the next day. That afternoon, the phone rang at the front desk. Simon picked it up.

"Metropolitan Hotel."

"Uncle Simon!"

"Melissa! How are you?"

"I'm a bit better."

"Ah, I understand darling."

"I just got off my plane, it was an hour delay."

"Oh it's alright darling."

"As soon as I get off the payphone I'll be on my way to the hotel."

"Alright Mel, bye bye."

"Bye."

They hung up.

"That was Melissa?" Hadley asked.

"Yep, her flight was delayed an hour, now she's on her way."

"Good! I can't wait to meet her."

"She's a good kid. A bit stubborn though, just like Gwen."

"Oh, I can handle her."

Simon went into the kitchen.

"Yorgo?"

"Yes Mr. Ferguson?"

"I want you to make me, Hadley, and the kids some spaghetti tonight. My niece is on her way here and it's one of her favorites. Spaghetti with meatballs and grated cheese on top."

"Do you guys want bread sticks with it as well?"

"Sure, that would be fine."

Yorgo got to cooking.

Soon, Melissa finally shows up. She has long curly black hair, green eyes. She's the spitting image of Simon. She wears a denim jacket over her clothing which consists of mostly a men's T shirt and blue jeans. She's a tomboy. Melissa rang the bell. Hadley walked out her office.

"May I help you...Melissa?"

"Yes?"

"Oh my goodness, you are the spitting image of Simon."

"Well, him and mother were so much alike."

"I knew who you were so quick!"

"Yeah, I get that. My old neighbor, every time she would see me she'd be like 'Oh, it's the Ferguson girl' kinda cold, you know. Ferguson kids are famous in England for being pretty naughty."

They giggled.

"How come you have your mother's last name instead of your father's? Curious."

"Mother wanted my last name to be hers because my father left before I was born. Now, people might think Uncle Simon's my dad instead of uncle."

Then, Simon walked out the kitchen. As soon as he saw his niece, his face lit up.

"Melissa!"

She saw him.

"Uncle Simon!"

She ran to hug her uncle.

"Let me look at you! Oh my goodness gracious, you've grown more divine since last time I saw you!"

"You don't look so bad yourself."

"Thank you so much!"

Simon hugged her again. He walked her to Hadley.

"I would like you to meet my best friend, Hadley Martin."

"Ms. Martin! So nice to meet you."

They shook hands.

"I was married to him twenty years ago...for twelve days," Hadley said.

"I know...ex wife number one."

Hadley giggled.

"You're prettier than I imagined Ms. Martin."

"Aw, thank you Melissa, you can call me Hadley if you want to...or Mom!"

"Alright then. So..Uncle Simon, uh, I heard you quit Days To Remember, how come?"

"Got killed off. Their loss."

Melissa giggled.
