Simon, Hadley, Melissa, Gwen, Daniel, etc. were at the small dining area in the kitchen. Hadley said grace.
"Dear Lord, thank you for the food we are about to receive and we pray that everyone is safe tonight. In Jesus' name. Amen."
"Amen."
They started eating.
"Oh my goodness, this is amazing! You seriously made this all yourselves."
"We sure did. It turned out great!" Melissa said.
"It sure did! With a lot of help from us," Gwen said.
"I am thankful for us eating as a family," Hadley said.
"I'm thankful for this food, it's delicious!" Simon said.
"I'm thankful for everyone having Thanksgiving with their families, including the animals!" Daniel said.
"I'm thankful for everything I have," Gwen said.
"Nice one Gwen! I'm thankful for everything too," Melissa said.
"So, Melissa, what'd you make for dessert?"
"Pumpkin pie."
"Oh! That sounds good."
"Don't make me take full credit, Daniel and Gwen helped out a lot."
"Ok."
They continued to eat.
