Patience

They were waiting in line patiently for their turn.

Waiting...waiting...waiting -

"How long is this going to take!?" Simon yelled.

"Uncle Simon, calm down! Just be patient."

"I'm starving to death over here Melissa. Haven't ate anything since lunch."

"Oh come on Simon, you're just exaggerating. You'll live," Hadley said.

"Exaggerating like he always does," Melissa said.

"Well sorry!" Simon said.

"I'm sorry too!"

They continued to wait for a few more minutes. Melissa started singing Starman but with different lyrics.

"There's a pizza waiting to be eaten. We'd like to come and buy some but the line is bloody long. There's a pizza waiting to be eaten. With gooey delicious cheese and some good ole classic pepperoni.-"

"Melissa stop! I'm hungry enough as it is." Gwen said.

Simon started singing Little Bitty Pretty One but with pizza related lyrics as well.

"Gooey cheesy delicious pizza, come on get in my belly-"

"Simon," Hadley said.

Simon chuckled.

"Sorry, too tempting not to," he grinned.

"The line's moving up!" Gwen said.

The line moved, they were about a few feet outside the pizzeria.

"We're still waiting though," Melissa said.

"Patience patience," Hadley said.

"Patience is a virtue!" Melissa said in an Asian accent.

"Let's play I Spy!" Daniel said.

"I don't mind a little game," Simon said.

Simon looked around.

"I spy something that smells delicious in the building next to us."

"Simon!" Hadley said.

Simon laughed.

"I spy something big and yellow," Melissa said.

"The buses in front of my school?" Daniel asked.

"Nah, it's the giant bumblebee in front of your school."

Daniel giggled.

"No, it's the buses!"

Melissa gave Daniel a pat on the back.

"My turn, I spy something red," Hadley said.

"The stop sign around the corner?" Simon asked.

"Nope, good choice though."

"That red car that's parked in front of us?" Gwen asked.

"Nope! Close."

"Oh I give up!" Simon said.

Melissa giggled.

"The stoplight that just turned green!" Melissa said.

"Yes! Your turn Gwen."

"Line's moving again," Simon said.

They were in the pizzeria.

"We're finally inside!" Simon said.

"And we're ready to get our orders taken!" Hadley said.
