Simon came back with a cast for his hand. Him and Melissa were chilling on the couch.

"That was a cool thing you did Uncle Simon."

"Hmm, Kyle deserved it. I went to his place and I let my fist fly and rammed into his eye. An eye for an eye. Melissa, Gwen didn't deserve to be treated like that. No woman does."

"I know. It was also a teachable moment for Daniel, now he won't hit em when he's older."

"Good. Would you mind getting Gwen and Daniel for me. I need all three of you in here for this."

"Ok."

Melissa got them in the lobby.

"Guys, sit down, I wanna show you something."

"What is it?" Daniel asked.

"Don't tell your mother. I got the perfect Christmas gift. I wanna show it to all of you. Because I love you so much."

"Before we see it, thank you for doing what you did for me. That was the coolest thing you ever did."

"You're welcome darling. You three have helped me grow up, as a person. Me and Melissa wanna spend the rest our lives with you two and your mother. So, here it is. May I be your future stepfather?" 

He took a ring box out of his jacket pocket.
