End Of Episode

They got back to the hotel.

"Thanks to your pocket knife, you got suspended. The first week of school!" Hadley said.

"I said I was sorry."

"Oh you're sorry now, you'll be sorry even more because you're grounded for a month!" Simon yelled.

"Oh, that won't solve bleedin' crap!"

"Don't take that tone with me Melissa Sarah Ferguson!"

"Uh oh...the full name. You know what that means in the South," Hadley said

"To me, not a damn thing."

Then, Simon swatted her on the butt, one quick hard swat. Her eyes widened. Hadley's eyes were wide too, she was proud while Melissa was shocked.

"Go to your room now," Simon said in the lowest and stern tone of voice.

She walked upstairs to her room.

"You did good," Hadley said.

"Thank you. But, I can't believe I spanked a child for the first time."

"The teenager had it coming and she deserved more whippins'."

"No, one is enough for me. You should've seen the look on her face. She's never been spanked by anyone other than her mother and her old headmaster. Gosh, I really hope this won't affect our close relationship."

"It won't. What matters is unconditional love. You grounded her and spanked her, not bad for a newbie parent."

"I learn how to do these things from self experience. Me and Sarah were spanked as children."

"Same here. Southern parents and British parents have a lot in common."

"So, what else can I do to her. She'll be bored during her suspension...I got it! I'll make her work in the hotel. Any openings?"

"We need a new waitress in the dining room. That'll be perfect for her."

"Great idea!"

Simon walked up to Melissa's room and knocked.

"Who is it?"

"Housekeeping," Simon said in a silly voice.

Melissa smiled and shook her head.

"Come in Uncle Simon."

He came in.

"What?"

"I came to talk to you. First of all, hand me your knife."

She gave it to him.

"Ok. Me and Hadley discussed one more punishment. Well, don't consider it a punishment. Hadley lent you a job here in the hotel. A waitress. Consider your new job a lesson on adulting. You start first thing tomorrow. You're grounded from your knife and contact with the outside world until you can go back to school, any questions or comments?"

She shook her head.

"No sir."

"Alright then,"

He kissed her on top her head.

"I love you."

"I love you too Uncle Simon."

He left the room.
