Hadley was at the lobby desk with Rose. Melissa, Gwen, and Daniel were at school. Simon walked in.
"Afternoon everyone, I have amazing news!"
"What? You finally got a job, no longer freeloader?" Rose asked.
"Actually yes, if I get the part."
"You got an audition!?" Hadley asked.
"Yes, It's tomorrow evening at 4! It's for the part of the main protagonist who's a grumpy army veteran, it's a heart touching story."
"Well, congratulations, I'm so happy for you!"
"Thank you Hadley. I wonder what Melissa's gonna say?"
"They'll be home from school in 3...2..1..."
They walked in. Simon gave Melissa a big hug.
"Melissa, how's my favorite and only niece?"
"Fine Uncle Simon...Uncle Simon?"
"Yes?"
"What happened today?"
"Oh, I'd knew you'd ask! I finally got an audition for a part in a movie!"
"Uncle Simon congratulations!"
She hugged him.
"When do you have to go to audition?"
"Tomorrow around this time."
She hugged him again, he kissed her on top her head.
