Melissa walk on stage and the teacher gave her the mic.
"It was the air horn, wasn't it?"
The audience laughed.
"Thought so, I can't believe I won. Thank you so much for watching my routine. Ever since I started watching Mr. Bean, I wanted to be a comedian. I was always told to follow my hopes and dreams. I started out wanting to be an actress or singer. I hope I can act and sing in comedy related stuff. I think the only person who inspired me to pursue a career in show biz in general is my Uncle Simon. Uncle Simon, please stand up and show everyone who you are. Ladies and gentlemen, one of the most beloved actors especially in my opinion, Simon Ferguson!"
Everyone clapped for him. She even noticed Mrs. Burke starstrucked.
"And again, thank you everyone so much."
Back at the hotel. Hadley gave Melissa a hug.
"Oh my gosh, I'm so proud of you! You were so funny back there, so comical that you won the show."
"Thanks Mum."
Hadley froze. Melissa smiled.
"I mean Ms. Martin."
Hadley smiled.
"Call me Hadley."
"I mean Hadley."
Melissa picked Daniel up and hugged him. Melissa gave Gwen a hug too.
"You did good Mel," Gwen said.
Melissa started crying. She ran upstairs.
"What happened?"
"You did nothing wrong," Hadley assured her.
"Her mother used to call her Mel all the time," Simon said.
"They were close, weren't they?" Gwen asked Simon.
"Very."
A tear came out of Simon's eye.
"I'm gonna go talk to her."
Gwen went upstairs.
