They were waiting for their pizza to be ready.
"We got to wait for that too!" Simon said impatiently.
"Remember, patience," Hadley said.
Simon looked at one of people in line. The person was a guy talking to his buddy.
"Oh my gosh, that's Harry Rosenberg, the famous director. I've always wanted to be a part of his projects."
"I heard he has a new movie in the works," Hadley said.
"Talk to him about it, then you'll be back on your feet as an actor," Melissa said.
"You ladies are right. I will go talk to him."
Simon took a step forward but he heard this:
"Is that Simon Ferguson?" Harry asked his buddy.
"It is! He could be perfect for the film."
"Nope, there's no way I'll let him be a part of my projects. I'm not a huge fan of him."
The guy sounded snooty. Simon walked to them.
"Mr. Rosenberg, such an honor to see you here."
Simon tried to be as polite as he could.
"Simon Ferguson."
"I heard you had a movie in the works."
"Yes, it's a science fiction about a paranormal investigator -"
"Shut up," Mr. Rosenberg said to his buddy.
"A paranormal investigator huh? That sounds like a fun thing to film. I could be a part of it, maybe the part of the investigator."
"...nope..."
"What?"
"I said nope."
"How come? I heard you didn't want me in it just a minute ago. Do you hate me or something?"
"Yes."
Simon looked offended. Melissa frowned.
"Why do you hate me?"
"I just can't stand you. You went from a talented young actor to a rugged old trainwreck. You're annoying!"
Melissa had enough, she walked to him.
"I can take it from here."
Simon grinned and walked away. He knew what she was gonna do.
"Listen sir. You got something to say, say it or keep your mouth shut. Your best bet right now is to keep your mouth shut."
"Who the hell are you young lady, you have no right to talk to a celebrity like that."
"I'm two things. Number one, I'm Simon's niece and number two, I'm someone who can and will flatten you like an aluminum can if you're not careful."
"Oh really?"
"Yep. Let me tell you something about Simon Ferguson, yes he may be annoying but he doesn't deserve your remarks about him. He's a good man and a good actor, the best I ever known in my life. He's not a trainwreck! He hasn't done anything in a while, big bleedin deal! I can see you're the type of person who is so judgmental that you only hang out with the cool crowd. Look at you, you wanna see something rugged and old and annoying, look in the mirror!"
Simon and the gang were proud of her.
"There may come a time he'll get a role... so, wait in line like the rest of us and keep your rude comments to yourself!"
She walked away.
"I might as well say it to the whole world by my publicist!"
Melissa was mad, wanting to punch. Simon shook his head no.
"Please?" She whispered.
"Fine. He deserves it anyways."
Melissa walked to Mr. Rosenberg and punched him in the face, knocking him out.
"Let's go! Hadley get the pizza!" Simon yelled.
They ran out.
