After his sister passes away unexpectedly, Simon Ferguson gets custody of his niece Melissa. Melissa enjoys life at the Metropolitan Hotel owned by Hadley Martin and her kids Gwen and Daniel.
Melissa walked into the kitchen to make herself a sandwich for lunch. Yorgo walked in.
"Hello Melissa!"
"Hi Yorgo. You look happy."
"Because I am! I just got back from my date with Linda!"
"The mail lady? You two make a sweet couple!"
"I know right!?"
They smiled.
"So, you have a boyfriend Melissa?"
"No."
"No? You are a beautiful girl, guys would fall madly in love with you!"
"Thank you Yorgo but, I'm not ready to date. I know by the time we reach our teens, most of us would want a date but not me. I'd rather be single anyways."
"I understand Melissa."
Yorgo walked away. While Melissa was almost finished making her food, Daniel peeked through the door.
"Daniel?"
"Hi Melissa, is Mom in here?"
"Nope, why?"
Daniel walked in with a cute brown and white puppy.
