They met back in the room.

"Can't find her anywhere!" Yorgo said.

"She's somewhere in this hotel lost, Daniel you shouldn't have brought her here."

"I know. I'm sorry."

Hadley came in the room with Lucy.

"Looking for this?"

Their eyes widened.

"Everybody out except for Daniel and Melissa."

They left.

"Sit down," Simon said.

They sat down.

"Daniel, you were the one that found the puppy. Pets are not allowed in the hotel, I told you that before. Why?"

"Because she was alone, dirty, and cold. I couldn't leave her out there."

Daniel started to cry.

"Daniel, honey, I know you love animals of all shapes and sizes and you wish you can rescue all of the cats and dogs but we can't keep the puppy. I'm sorry Daniel. Daniel baby!"

She hugged him.

"I'm sorry, it's hotel policy. When we moved here, they said...they said it wasn't pet friendly. Simon, help me out here."

"Well, I never had a pet growing up, my parents wouldn't let me. I'm siding with Daniel here."

"Simon, are you serious?"

"I am!"

Melissa held Lucy.

"I never had a pet neither. She is so cute, she'll make a great dog. Perfect for this family."

Hadley gave her a sad look.

"I used to have a dog named Betsy, had her since she was a puppy. She was my best friend up until I was a teenager. She died of parvo!"

Hadley started to cry.

"What's parvo?" Daniel asked.

"A highly contagious infection in animals."

"So, can we keep her?" Melissa asked.

"She can stay in Melissa's room."

Hadley nodded.

"Only in Melissa's room unless she's going to the bathroom outside on a leash."

They smiled.

"Uncle Simon, I thought you weren't a dog lover?" Melissa asked.

"I'm not. But, I love the people who love this puppy."

"Aww!" They said.

Simon laughed as they hugged him.
