EIGHT YEARS LATER....

'Hey baby,ready to leave?'

Caleb asked wrapping his arms around his wife's thick chubby waist while the room erupted with cooing . His wife tried to shoosh him away as she was trying to finish up setting her show room but this just enticed him more and he began planting kisses on her neck to the amusement of everyone in the shop.

'Caleb,stoooop!'

She tried to be stern but his touch and kisses were affecting her. She tried to wiggle out of his grip but this would make him moan seductively. She shied away from the looks of her colleagues since she knew that by now her face was beet red. This was their daily routine and her staff was used to it by now.

''Dahdah,dahdah''

She was saved by her eighteen month old daughter who came running towards her father as soon as she spotted him. Caleb let go of her to embrace his daughter but not before smacking her bottom while their daughter was distracted.

'How long have you two been married?'

An old lady who had watched the couple while she was looking at her showroom asked her when her husband walked away with their daughter.

'Five years now'

Amor replied with a huge smile on her face. She never thought that she would find love again after how her first marriage ended. When she left her home eight years ago and the man she loved, she closed herself to love but then Caleb came along and showed her that good black men still existed out there. Amor met Caleb when she was looking for a place to start her own business and a place to stay after moping around her mother's house for six months. Caleb was and is a developer and owns quite a few business and apartment buildings.

'You two are so beautiful together and your children are beautiful too. You remind me of how my Cedric and I were before he passed. It was love at first sight for us.'

'Lucky Cedric I had to court this one for about a eight months before she even agreed to go out for drinks with me.Imagine my surprise when I proposed and she said yes without hesitation. I thought I was going to have to growel to get her to marry me,let alone agree to marry me.'

The old lady smiled as she listened to Caleb's version of events and Amor would exclaim saying she was not as bad as he was making her out to be. Caleb had almost given up on her ever agreeing to a date with him when he told himself he was going to ask her out for the last time and if her answer was no then he was just going to move on.

'But I said yes'

'Then she added that it was only for drinks and we were going only as friends. Since I was determined to have her,I agreed even though I was being friendzoned but luckily she enjoyed our date so much she agreed to go on a second and eight years later we are about to celebrate our sixth wedding anniversary with our two beautiful children.'
