Caleb walked into the house a little after midnight. Gently he pushed the front door shut making sure not to wake up his wife. Who unbeknownst to him could not fall asleep while she did not know where he was. He went upstairs to grabbed his blankets only to abandon the idea and head into their shared bedroom just as she was walking out of their bathroom.

' You're up.'

' and you're home.'

She sarcastically said getting back into bed. He took off his suit and got into bed with her. She turned to face him in an attempt to kick him out for getting under her blankets without taking a shower but she decided against it. Amor was tired of fighting and him being next to her was a great feeling she did not want to let go of. She needed himo hold her tonight.

Against her doctors orders, Amor got out of bed and attended to her daughters,getting them ready for school. Caleb was surprised to wake up to an empty bed. He hurried downstairs just as she returned from getting Caitlin and Cayden onto the school bus.

' I thought you were supposed to be on bed rest.'

' I had to get our daughter's ready for school.'

She began tidying up her house. Caleb shook his head and grabbed the dishes and cloth from her hands. He grabbed her wrist and almost dragged her into the bedroom.

' Sit. We need to talk.'

' Caleb I really don't want to -'

Caleb cut her off. He did not want to argue but he was going about it the wrong way.

' I also don't want to argue. So please sit. First I want to apologize for coming home late last night. I needed to clear my head. What the doctor told us yesterday kept replaying in my head and I promise I did not go drinking.'

Amor nodded in acknowledgement and continued to sit quietly, impatiently waiting for him to get to his point but quietly because he had cut her off and she had an attitude about it.

' I didn't think you did. So what did you concluded? If you came to a conclusion.'

' Baby I know I was hard on you about this baby and your ex husband but I was jealous. You know before I met you I had lost my trust in the female species. I had been cheated, played and used me for money but you know all that. So seeing him back here with everything that's going on just got me in a jealous rage.'

He knelt infront of her knees while she sat on the edge of the bed. He grabbed her hands which where on her knees, in a comforting manner.

' So I am very sorry and I want to do my part in helping you reduce the stress you're under. Baby I am so sorry it took me this long to realise how unreasonable I was being but I promise to do better.'

Amor used her thumbs to wipe away his tears away. She kisses his forehead and wrapped her arms around his neck and accepted his apology.
