Caleb stood in the shower,with his head directly under the four sided shower head letting the cold water rain down his head and body. He was consumed by thoughts of events from earlier that day and had a lot he wanted to tell his wife but did not know where to start. How do you tell the woman that you had spent so much time teaching, to love and trust again that the happiness that she thought she had finally found was going to be taken away from her.

'Caleb are you okay? You have been in there for over an hour.'

Amor shouted from the other side of their bathroom door. He stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around his lower waist and secured it before stepping into the main bedroom.

'Sorry I lost track of time.'

'It's okay,are you well though?'

'Yeah just have a lot on my mind.'

Sensing that he did not want to talk about what was bothering him,Amor did not questiom him further and went into the bathroom as she too needed to take a shower. She headed into her kitchen an hour later to find that Caleb had made dinner,which he rarely did.

'You cooked?,Are you sure you are okay? I mean because you cook only when something is troubling you.'

Caleb leaned onto the kitchen counter with his back and faced her as she ate the meal he had prepared.

'I was fine till Robert called.'

Amor's eyes shot up and she almost choked on her food.

'Uhh... Robert? Robert who?'

Caleb walked closer to where she sat,on a bar stool but she scooted away from him, almost falling over but he grabbed her by her thick upper arm.

'When where you going to tell me he's been calling you?'

'Caleb,babe,uhm,uhh...'

He let go of her,punching the table with his fist angrily and shouted.

'ANSWER ME!'

'Babe I never took his -'

'Is that what I asked!'

Caleb spoke through gritted teeth but she understood every word. Caleb was unpredictable when angry but he has never laid his hands on her but at this moment she feared that he would beat her.

'I was -'

'When? Huh!? When you leave me for him?!'

'Caleb I would ne-'

She could not get a word in

'You also made a vow on our wedding day to be transparent with me but you out here keeping secrets and who the hell gave him my contact details?'

This shocked Amor since she had thought that her former husband had called her phone and Caleb had answered it,since she had left it in the bedroom when she went to take a shower.

'He called you?'

'Oh you going to act like you didn't know!'

'Caleb I swear I did not giv-'

'Then who did huh!?'

Amor just shrug her shoulders trying to think how her ex husband could have acquired her current husband's contact. All of her friends were new and her family knew not to give Robert any information about her.
