A/N: I might disappear for a little more than 2 weeks until the next update because I am finishing up my exchange here in Japan and preparing to go home.

[Sane Insanity]

"Remember to take in deep breaths if you feel anything funny, Haruka."

"It's Rika." Rika answered with a scowl, walking beside her escort. The man was nice, but he always made mistakes with her name.

"Right, I apologise." He answered lowly, but there was nothing more that Rika could say before they reached the lounge. Rika scanned her tag that she wore around her wrist, smiling when the screen of the small device glowed green. The screen wrote Haruka's name, but she didn't let that bother her too much. Rika was already used to being called Haruka even though it was annoying at times.

"Don't disturb the others too much." Her escort bade as a goodbye, and she made a small sound of reply before she wandered further into the room. It was fairly occupied with the others all absorbed in their own situations.

"Hello." Rika greeted her friend, who looked up from concentrating at the world map. "Who are you today?"

"I am Leon." He replied with a frown. "If you are looking for Chris, try again some other day."

"Okay. If Chris asks, tell him Rika said hi." She answered, slightly disappointed that she had caught the man on the wrong day. Rika liked Chris, but they didn't have much time with each other at all. That made their meetings by luck even sweeter, though, and Rika had to admit that she had warm feelings about Chris.

Because her friend wasn't here today, Rika paused to look around the lounge at people she recognised as friendly souls. Who she ended up approaching was one that she neither recognised, nor was a friendly soul.

"Hello." She rounded around his armchair that had been turned to face the bookshelf at the corner of the lounge. She knew that behaviour was tell-tale of antisocial problems. "I haven't met you before. What is your name?"

"It's you again." The man with the snowy white hair looked up at her over the top of his book, and she saw a sharp glare in those eyes. His tone had not been kind either, and from what Rika knew from staying here, she could confirm that there was some antisocial behaviours. But people weren't put here just because of antisocial behaviours. This man had to have more problems than that. "Have you come to offer your apology for your pathetic behaviour?"

"Excuse me, but this is the first time I'm meeting you." Rika answered with a frown. She had dealt with antisocial patients before this, and they had usually made her feel extremely crossed after talking to them.

"If you wish to continue with your useless yapping, I suggest you be wise and do it somewhere with the dogs. If you wish to re-enact any of those acts you tried to do with me the other time, prepare to meet your Maker. I will try to be nice and not send you straight down to Hell." The cool blue eyes went back down to his book, declaring the conversation closed.

"You said you met me before. When was that? And what did I do to you?" Rika crossed her arms in a huff. She suspected that his prickly character was not only because of his problems, but just a part of him.

He didn't reply, nor acknowledge that she had issued a question. The man with the white hair simply continued reading as if ignoring her was going to make her go away. But Rika was not so easily pushed away. She was the most curious soul of the lot, and she wasn't scared to do whatever she wanted to get her answers.

And so Rika reached forwards and snatched the book from the man's hands, taking him by surprise.

"Answer me."
