"Georgie"
The name sounded familiar in Richies ears. He held his hand out to him, "nice to meet you Georgie"
Georgie hesitantly shook Richies hand.
"How long have you been down here?"
Georgie shrugged, "a long time. Weeks maybe. What day is it?"
"August 25th."
"Weeks" Georgie concluded.
Richie felt bad for him. How could he have not know, that a whole mother fucking child was in his cellar? How?! And why didn't his dad tell him?
"Do they... feed you? And stuff?"
Georgie nodded his head over towards a bucket in the corner, "that's where I pee. Ever peed in a bucket?"
"Dude that's sick" Richie grimaced at the bucket. "I know" Georgie replied
"Are you hungry? You want me to bring you food?"
"I'd like for you to let me go"
His dad has him down here for a reason. He may not know that reason, but he wants to know why before he does anything.
"I want to.... but I can't."
Georgie sighed and shrugged, "it was a long shot anyways"
Richie suddenly remembered his plans with Eddie. "I have to call someone, stay quiet, okay?"
Georgie nodded and Richie walked over to a corner. He dialed eddies number and listened to the rings.
"Hello?" Eddie answered
"Hey Eds, something came up and I can't make our date. I'm really sorry"
"Oh, that's okay. Bill wanted me and Stan to look for Georgie again today..."
The name rung in Richies ears and he looked over at Georgie who was playing with the chain on his ankle. He completely blocked out eddies voice as he was in his own thoughts
".... but it's okay. We search for him a lot."
"Oh— yeah. I hope it goes well."
"Maybe I can stop by after—"
"—No! I mean... not today. But we can hang out tomorrow or something."
"Okay... I'll talk to you later then. Bye"
The line went blank and Richie slid his phone in his pocket. He walked back over to Georgie and sat in front of him.
"Whats.... what's your last name?"
"Denbrough. Why?"
That was Bills last name. Georgie is Bills missing brother. He knows where the missing kid is—
"Oh, no reason. You said you had a brother?" Richies heart was shaking in his chest
