Instead of being signed off with the usual B.H. It read:
— devoted to Eddie Kaspbrak, from Richie Tozier
Eddie slammed the paper down on the table. His cheeks red with furry and Bill and Stan trying to contain him.
"What. The fuck." Eddie tore out the page and gripped it in his hand.
"He thinks he can just do this to me?! After he broke my heart?!" He pushed past Stan and Bill and stomped through the school halls. Stan and Bill had lost him but Eddie could hear them calling his name.
He got to Richies locker where the boy himself stood with Bev and Mike. He slammed his locker door closed and Richie snapped his head to him. Once he seen it was Eddie he swallowed thickly and his eyes widened.
Eddie held the paper up to Richie,
"is this some kind of cruel fucking joke just like our entire relationship was to you?!"
Richie took the paper and read over it quickly. Fuck, Ben didn't know that they broke up.
"Eddie—"
"No richie! This is fucked! Am I a joke to you? Did you do this to get a few laughs? Or did you do it to break my heart again?!
Well congradu-fucking-lations it worked!"
Bill and Stan appeared behind him, out of breath.
"Eddie, hold on-" Bev tried to step in but Richie pushed her back.
"We weren't a joke to me—" Richie began but Eddie scoffed and ripped up the paper.
"Yeah fucking right. I liked you! A lot! I thought you were different then all the other assholes I've dated but I guess I was wrong! So fuck you Richie Tozier. Fuck you and your cold heart!" He was crying at this point, of anger and sorrow. He walked off leaving Stan and Bill behind.
Stan was going at Richie but mike stepped between them.
"Guys! Not the time!"
Richie stood frozen but Stan still had his fists at ready.
"That w-was real fu-fucked Richie..." bill said with disappointment.
Bill tugged on Stans shirt to try and get him to follow.
"Just leave him alone Richie. You and I both know what goes on in his life and it was awful of you to just leave him like he meant nothing." Stan followed Bill to find Eddie and Mike turned to face Richie.
"What did you do?"
"I didn't do anything. Ben wrote that and I forgot to tell him Eddie and I broke up." Richie kept his eyes averted. A girl passed by with the newspaper in her hand and Richie took it from her. He walked to the back of the school with Bev and Mike on his heels to the paper room and found Ben writing at an old wooden desk.
