"They're so merciless! " I asked, bewildered, inside their tent. I couldn't believe what we had just witnessed. I couldn't help but feel intense anger as they recounted the various actions of the robots on the students here.
"This island is owned by one of the richest people in the world. They've hidden this island away. They've spread the beauty of this school on the internet, but only selected people have been given the right to read about it." Williana said, looking at me. Meanwhile, Rald was pressing something on the computer. That's where he inserted the chip. Many details came out there, but I didn't bother myself to look at it again.
"Let's just escape," I commented, but Krich only shook his head in response. Simon's face fell, while some others smiled bitterly. I sighed deeply before sitting on Simon's swivel chair.
"I really want to leave right now, but you know what's making me stay?" He pointed at the computer. I saw all the students there.
It's painful to think that they don't have any idea what's happening on this island. I can't believe they're so blind to the disgusting truth hidden from them by scientists and robots.
I want to announce the truth to them, but I know it will endanger us all the moment I speak about the dirty dealings. All I can do is endure everything that's happening because I know we have plans for them.
Just thinking that the students like me on this island see it as a paradise disgusts me. I thought the beauty of its purpose would pass on to it but just like the way said, " fool others like Even a before, They've fooled in charge... island is just they will only gold.
"Those students like me..."
I don't know if I should be sad or happy because you'll see that he is determined. I know he's mission like his and at he doesn't want are the type that's to abuse, all the time
"We need to solve this," Rald said while pointing at something on the computer.
"It's already the second semester tomorrow. Robots will take charge. So, observe carefully... because just by entering each cube, students may come out as robots. You've probably noticed that some students, whether robot or human, don't talk to us. There's only one reason for that... because their brains have already been poisoned..." I wondered aloud, looking at Rald.
Suddenly, it dawned on me.
"Camael, do you remember when all the students were sent to the oval? They poured an invisible chemical that can poison the human brain. It fills every student you see with negative thoughts and ideas... you weren't affected because Ponus protected you, and so did we. That's why they don't talk to you—they see you as an enemy."
I looked at Rald, his face serious. Now I understand why other students here don't talk to me. That explains why some people here look at me as if I've committed a serious crime against them.
That's why almost everyone here ignores me. They've all been poisoned. Instead of getting angry or feeling irritated, I feel pity. They don't know that slowly but surely, they're being controlled by the robots here.
"Rule number one: Trust no one but yourself," Krich exclaimed while pressing something on the computer. It displayed various images of scientists.
"Those scientists aren't concerned about people. They're concerned about their inventions that could bring about big changes in the world."
I clenched my fist. Just by their looks, I'm already annoyed. They appear kind and innocent, but behind their meek appearance lie wicked intentions.
"They're not really helping us; they're only helping themselves to gain fame," Williana said. I looked at her, and she immediately sat beside me.
