Incomplete
I stared at the girl I had rescued while Rylea attended to her. Williana was treating the wounds I had sustained. After being treated, I paced back and forth from where I stood. I couldn't sit still.
I'm wondering, where did Simon go?
"Camael, you still have class, right? Go now. We'll take care of things here," Rald said.
I grabbed my bag and hurriedly left. My eyes couldn't stay still because I hadn't seen Simon since earlier. I was nervous. I hoped that whatever I was thinking wasn't true.
As I passed through the oval, it was deserted. I ran to my room and relaxed because I had arrived right on time. The professor hadn't arrived yet.
The students just stared at me as if I carried the weight of the world's sins. I sat down at my desk and looked back at them.
The class started, but my mind was elsewhere. I couldn't stop thinking about Simon. I hadn't seen him yet. There were no signs of where he might be. I couldn't help but feel scared for him.
"Where could he be?" I left the room as soon as our class ended.
I nearly circled the building where Simon often went, but I still didn't see any signs of him. I even visited all his favorite hangouts, but he wasn't there either.
Hours passed as I searched for him, but I still couldn't find him. I was getting anxious. I was getting scared. What happened to you, Simon? There was still no sign of Simon.
"Where the hell did he go?"
I returned to the basement, but he wasn't there either. I sighed deeply. I was worried about him. After a few more minutes of searching, I gave up. I hoped he was okay.
I ran to my room and when I opened it, there he was, sprawled on my bed. I furrowed my brow.
"Montrearde!" He opened his eyes, giving me a smirk before sitting up and facing me.
"Yes?"
"Why did you disappear earlier?! Where did you go?! I-I almost died searching for you, douchebag!"
"I saved you... that's reason enough. Are you okay now? I need to sleep. I'm tired." I grabbed his foot and was surprised to see a cut on the side of his jaw.
My eyes widened further when I noticed the wounds. Where did he get those?
"Where did you get that?" I pointed to the cut on his jaw.
"A mosquito bit me, so I bit him back," he sarcastically replied. He was full of sarcasm. I really wanted to punch him.
"A mosquito? Don't you dare try to fool me! That must have been a huge mosquito that bit you!"
"When you're handsome... you tend to be the special target of all mosquitoes," he sarcastically retorted again.
Sometimes, I wonder if Simon's boasting is at its minimum or maximum.
"Come on, I want to get some fresh air."
I glanced at the clock and noticed it was already 8 PM. I hadn't realized I had been looking for him for several hours. I should probably be angry at him for making me search all corners of this island, only to find him here in my room.
I looked at him. I could tell he was tired, so maybe I'll get angry next time.
Time flies so fast.
"It's already evening."
"Is that a joke?" He just pulled me out. We went down and headed to the side of the building. That's where I saw his guitar.
"Can you climb a tree?"
