"I'll come with you."

It took him a few minutes to decide. I thought he would refuse my offer because if he didn't want to come with me, I would have left without him.

"I was just worried."

"I'm sorry." He kissed my forehead.

One thing I love about this man? He doesn't let our fights last long. We talk about our problems instead of ignoring each other. Communication is always key to a healthy relationship.

He explained his point to me, and I explained mine. We came to an understanding this way.

Lose the argument rather than lose the person you love.

"Just do one thing."

"What is it?"

"Don't go far away from me, please. This is a command, not a request. Did you get me?" I nodded.

"I got you, always." We both walked towards my room.

"Oh, you're already here, Camael?"

I frowned when I heard Cynthia's voice. She suddenly spoke as if her voice was genuine. Was I imagining things?

"You can talk now?"

"Yes! Thanks to your husband!" My eyes widened even more at what I heard.

"He's not my husband yet. He's still my dorky boyfriend."

"How did you?" She shrugged before sitting on my bed. I was stunned by her while standing. Even though she was silent, Simon was really impressive. He never fails to amaze me.

"I found something in the storage room behind the flying saucer. There was an old speaking device, so I repaired it and then boom! We gave it to her."

"What is that thing?" I held it and was amazed.

"Speech-speaking device. It helps mute people talk. It's placed around their throat so that if they want to speak... they can. We can hear them. When I get out of here... I'm planning to make more devices like that, especially for mute and deaf people."

I stared at my man as he talked. He is a man of words. He loves helping others. I'm so proud. I'd definitely marry this kind of guy.

"Bye, lovebirds! I'll be in my room." I rolled my eyes.

"Will she be talkative now?" I went into the room too.

I changed my outfit. I wore my black ninja suit so the robots wouldn't recognize me. I sighed as I looked at myself in the mirror, realizing that I'm always putting myself in danger. But now? I have someone to be with me, and we'll face it together.

It scares me even more because it's the two of us risking our lives. This will be frightening because I have to be wise with my decisions and actions, as I'm not the only one who might face death, if it happens.

Death might also catch my love, my Simon.

I have to be careful. I don't want to lose him the way he doesn't want to lose me.

When I left the room, I was surprised to see that Simon was already dressed. I frowned.

"You changed fast."

"You always forget there's a secret passage from your room to mine and to the secret base."

I didn't know, but I don't usually use that route. I thought it was abnormal, just something Simon would do.

"Montrearde, let's go." But he still didn't move.

I raised my eyebrow.

"Call me love. It sounds good to me, you know?"
