Out
"Are you ready to go now?"
I smiled at them.
During my stay at the hospital, I managed to feel a bit better.
I can now manage to smile a bit, I guess?
"Let's go."
As soon as my feet touched the ground outside the hospital, I instinctively placed a hand on my belly. I need to face reality now. I have to confront the real world. It's unbelievable how just yesterday I was a normal student, but now? I am becoming a mother.
I believe the best part of my life will be being a mother to my child. But what if Simon were alive? I'm sure he would be helping me take care of our baby.
I pushed aside the negative thoughts that were troubling me. Janus helped me into his car. I was a bit disoriented since it had been a while since I last rode in a car.
"This will turn into a robot." Janus furrowed his brow at me.
"If Simon were alive, this car would turn into a robot... just kidding. I just miss him."
I quickly grabbed Janus's headphones.
I need to listen to music. I love music because it expresses what I can't say. Listening to songs is like a stress reliever for me, calming the turmoil I've been through all day. Music always reflects my emotions. Every lyric feels like a special quote for me.
Music is my comfort zone. When I'm sad, I listen to melancholic songs and let the lyrics convey my feelings. When I'm happy, I enjoy the music. It's true that you only truly understand a song when you're sad or broken, as the lyrics hit you deeply.
"Camael, what do you want to eat tonight?"
"I'd like to eat Simon's favorite dishes."
I put the headphones back on. The first song Simon ever sang to me started playing.
I couldn't help but smile as I remembered how he sang that song to me on the rooftop, watching the stars twinkle. It's such a wonderful memory for me.

Everything in this world that a man could want
I got a bank account bigger than the law should allow
Still I'm lonely now
Pretty Faces from the covers of a magazine
From their covers to my covers want to lay with me
Fame and Fortune still can't find, just a grown woman runnin' out of timeI closed my eyes while listening to the song. It reminds me of the angelic voice of my one and only scientist.
My Simon Montrearde.
My man who speaks sarcasm fluently.
Even though it seems I have everything
I don't want to be a lonely fool
All of the women, all the expensive cars, all the money don't amount to you
So I can make believe I have everything, but I can't pretend that I don't see
That without you girl my life is incomplete
Without you girl my life is incompleteI am not Camael Wise without Simon Montrearde. He was the one who molded this strong, brave and fearless Camael Wise. I thank him so much because he was the one who lifted me up when I was already drowning.
I just can't help lovin' you
But I loved you much too late
I'd give anything and everything to hear you say, that you'll stayEven though it seems I have everything
I don't want to be a lonely fool
All of the women, all of the expensive cars, all of the money don't amount to you
I can make believe I have everything,
but I can't pretend that I don't see
That without you gir my life is incomplete
