Shit, they weren't supposed to find that. It's a page from my notebook. The one where I keep all my deepest, darkest secrets. Oh, God, now what?
"Katie, what is this?" asks Ashton.
"I've got a notebook, where I keep all my deepest, darkest secrets. My mum knows about it and so does my dad. I didn't want you guys to find it, but now you have," I say, beginning to cry.
"Ah, don't cry. It's upsetting to see someone so nice crying," says Calum. I like him; he's nice. I just sob, hiding into Michael's shoulder. I do this for several minutes. The bell goes for 3rd period.
"Don't worry, you've got a pass to get out of lessons for the day," says Luke. I nod. I then look up. Ashton passes me a tissue and I blow my nose and dry my tears.
"I must look a mess," I say, giggling.
"Nah, you look so perfect," says Michael.
"Standing there in my American Apparel underwear," I sing. They laugh.
"Can you sing to us?" asks Michael.
"Sure." I say. I like singing. It transports me to another world and takes my mind off things. I decide to sing Further On (Up The Road) by Bruce Springsteen. After I sing it, the boys look amazed at me.
"You were bloody great, Katie," says Michael.
"Thanks," I say, blushing.
Suddnly, I feel a pain so bad, I could faint. I see my hands. They're as white as a sheet. Shit. It's happening again. This is what I feared. This is the 4th stomach obstruction.
