"Katie, wake up." I think I hear Mikey say to me. I know he's shaking me.
"Quit shaking me, Mikey. I'm getting up." I snap at him. I wake up to find I'm in a hotel room.
"Morning, sleepyhead." Ash says, coming in to our room without a top on.
"Put a top on, Ash, you don't want the poor girl to be scared for life." I freeze. That really offended me. I've got scars, and I don't want to be scared for life.
"Oh, thanks for that, Mikey. I've got scars, so do you want me to be scared for life! THAT'T FINE, THEN!" I shout at him.
"Oh my god. I really didn't mean it in that way, Katie. Please forgive me. I was only having a laugh." he says. I turn my back on him.
"Yeah, well, you don't consider other people's feelings, do you?" I spit back. I get ready and I go to have breakfast.
At the breakfast table, I ask Luke where we are. (Haha, see what I done there.)
"We are in Paris. You can go on a date with Mikey."
"I'm not talking to Mikey at the moment." I say.
"Why not?" Cal asks. I explain and everyone just nods. Then they throw Mikey a dirty look.
"I said I was sorry. I was only joking!" Mikey protests. I ignore him. Ash nods.
"I believe you, mate, but I don't think Katie has forgiven you yet." he says.
"Please forgive me, Katie. I'm so sorry. I love you. I'll do anything for you." Mikey says, looking at me with puppy dog eyes.
"Anything?" I ask.
"Anything." Mikey says.
"Will you give up video games for a whole day?" I challenge him. He nods. I grin.
"I dare you to go a whole day without video games." I say to him.
"What do I win, then, if I do that?"
"You get to kiss me all you want." I say.
"And if I lose?"
"Then you get no kisses from me and no video games for an entire weekend!"
"WHAT?! NO VIDEO GAMES AND NO KISSES FROM YOU FOR AN ENTIRE WEEKEND?!" he repeats/shouts. I cover my ears. He can shout REALLY loudly.
"Yes." I say.
"Bring it on." he says, and we shake hands.
"Let's start it now." Ash says.
"Yeah." Cal agrees.
