Part 14

Inside an office building Y/n was slowly walking with a shotgun ready as Athena was close beside him. They moved I to a room, instantly attacked by a man. He had his gun pressed against his chest. Athena ran in grabbing the back of their coat and brought them down then jumped on top finishing him.

Y/n: Target down.

Hibana: Good, we should only have two left. I'll have Buck move to your position to breach the objective.

Y/n kneeled down to the body and patted on it back.

Y/n: Maybe next time Bandit.

Bandit: Asshole.

Y/n fired two practice rounds into his back as he left to meet Buck above a hatch that Bandit's team didn't reinforce.

Y/n: What's the plan?

Buck: It should be Maestro and Smoke in the objective, Fuze will place the cluster charge as Hibana make a hole for IQ to shoot from. We will breach as the explosions stop with Montagne and Fuze as they push them with the shields.

Y/n: How about we do that except we walk around and shoot through the floor as Athena sneaks in and takes them out?

(Over the radio)

Fuze: I like that idea better.

Hibana: What's wrong with my plan?

IQ: You are basically telling us to do the same thing we did last time.

Monty: Don't fix what isn't broken.

Buck: We go with Y/n's plan because they have Smoke instead of Lesion.

Hibana: Fine.

Fuze set off the charge, the sounds of the pucks began hitting the ground exploding the dummy rounds. Buck and Y/n began firing their shotguns into the floor as Athena jumped down onto the metal rack below her. She jumped down looking for her targets. Seeing Fuze and Montagne enter she moved quietly to her right. One of Smoke's canisters detonated stopping the shield operators. Athena knocked over boxes on the self and waited for a second to see a boot in front of her. She bite the boot and pulled tipped the rack on top of Maestro as he fell. Another canister detonated near her. She ran behind both shield operators as they took fire from Smoke as he held out his last canister.

Smoke: What's in the canis....

Athena climbed up Fuze and jumped at Smoke knocking him down as she clamped onto his chest.

Intercom: All defenders eliminated.

Everyone walked out as everyone met them outside the building as the Training Officer walked out.

Officer: So it appears to be a tie between Thatcher's team and Y/n's. Each team pick one person to compete in a hostage rescue mission.

Thatcher: Ash you're up princess.

Fuze: Y/n go kick her ass.

Ash: I'll go slow for you.

Y/n: Your fast is slow for me.

She stared at him as she loaded her rifle.

Officer: Ash you're up first and you will have forty seconds to drone the area then you will be timed after that.

As the timer began she fired her launcher as she ran for the door. Y/n sat down and began petting Athena while his teammates looked at him.

Buck: You're not nervous or anything?

Y/n: No.

Fuze: You already have a plan?

Y/n: Kinda.
