Part 21

Y/n was sitting down cleaning his rifle when a pair of hands covered his face.

"Guess who."

Y/n: My favorite girl in the world?"

"And who would that be?"

Y/n: Athena.

He was punched in his shoulder before Hibana walked around to lay against him.

Hibana: You're such an ass.

Y/n: I know. How was it?

Hibana: Well Weasel got struck in the head and he's Russian now.

Y/n: Do any of them now that yet?

Hibana: No, but I could use some help with my clothes.

Y/n: I can help with that.

He was interrupted from a Recruit knocking on his door.

"Video call for you, sir."

Y/n: From?

Recruit: Your parents I guess.

Hibana: Oh, can I come?

Y/n: I guess.

He shut the door before Hibana jumped up quickly looking for her clothes.

Hibana: Should I wear your hoodie with the Denmark flag on it?

Y/n: Why?

Hibana: I don't know.

(Timeskip)

They were walking down a hall, Hibana was eager to finally see what his parents were like. He opened the door for her, she nearly sprinted in. Inside Ash was talking to her parents along with Thatcher getting frustrated as Mute was replacing monitors.

Y/n: What you doing?

Mute: He punched the damn screen trying to call his wife.

Thatcher sat back as he mumbled to himself. Y/n sat down in an empty chair as he waited for the video to connect. Hibana began scooting her chair as he watched her.

Y/n: I don't see how it is exciting.

Before she got any closer Athena stood between them as she had her front paws on the table making Hibana sit off-screen as the video connected. The video showed a man's face close up to the camera.

"What why can't I see anything?"

Hibana: Who's that?

Y/n: My dad, Corey.

Hibana: How come he doesn't have an accent?

Y/n: He's American.

Corey: I...oh Y/n, you're on now. Millie, I got working!

Y/n's mother was fixing her hair as she pulled a chair next to his father.

Millie: How're my favorite soldiers doing?

Athena began barking was her tail wagged.

Millie: Aw I miss you too. Y/n who are you hiding over there.

Y/n: That's my girlfriend, Yumiko.

She slowly moved into the camera as Athena moved to the other side.

Hibana: Hi.

Corey: Hello I'm Corey and this is Millie.

Millie: Well how long were you keeping this a secret?

Y/n: Well I did have a plan for us to visit you but we had a slight problem.

Hibana(whispering): When was that?
