Groaned, I shifted in place & hide my face on his chest. Again, a shrill of alarm disturbed me. Argh...

"Khushi wake up." I felt a shake on my arm.

I shoved it away "Let me sleep."

"Khushi..  You wanted to wake up earlier remember?" I heard him so near me.

Pushed him, I rolled to my side & pulled the comforter over my head to avoid both the light & his continuous attempts to wake me up.

"Khushi Jaan, get up. You said some guests are coming here, so you need to wake earlier."

At once, my eyes snapped open & I sat up with a jolt. How can I forgot that? Naniji specially asked me to wake earlier & do some arrangements.

"Khushi betiya..." A knock on the door kept me on toes.

"I really don't know why you worked up & why you're doing all the works by yourself. You'll never hear me & hand over works to HP. I will speak to...."

"Wait wait arnavji... I don't have time for your lecture. Let me get ready first & you please inform the same to Nani." I said hurriedly taking out my clothes from wardrobe.

"Ok..." Even though his instant acceptance made me suspicious, I had enough on my plate to overlook his actions.

Quickly draping the saree, I did necessary touch ups and hurried downstairs.

"Khushi bitiya slow slow... Why are you running like this? What if you got hurt? Already you're unwell." Nani's concern is a usual thing but what is she saying?

"I am fine naniji." I replied with a frown.

"Learn to say no if you aren't comfortable bitya. Chote told me everything. You're unwell & you never breathed anything about that to us."

"Arnavji said." I murmured.

"Haan Khushi betiya. If I knew this earlier I wouldn't had turned up at your room at morning. Better than never late. You take rest. Chotte strictly ordered me to not let you work. Anjali, Payal & Manorama are there na."

Now I got it. Stupid laadgovernor, took my words seriously & gave those lecture to naniji. Poor she. Let him come, I mused angrily.

"I am fine naniji. He's bluffing unnecessarily." I coaxed through my gritted teeth.

"He's so right. You're not going to do any work & that's my order. Anjali betiya give Khushi bitya her coffee."

"Naniji... Naniji..." She declared like laadgovernor and went aside ignoring my calls.

Stomping the floor, I sat on sofa. Di who handed me my coffee went away giving a teasing smile. Perhaps she found her little brother's mischief.

"She's Khushi, Arnav's wife & she's Payal, Aakash wife." Nani introduced us to our guests. They're about ten members. From their talks, I concluded they're Nani's distant relatives.

After sharing pleasantries, I sat beside Nani.

"I thought your grandson will never marry as he claimed." One around Nani age exclaimed to Nani.

From the corner of eyes, I saw him rolling his eyes. He's least interested in sitting here. It's only because of my pestering he's here sitting opposite to me.

"Love changes anything."

I smiled shyly as Nani mentioned it.

"Arnav bituwa why are you silent? What about your business? I read about your achievements. It's marvellous at this young age."

He smiled for namesake & thinned his lips.

"Er... Bhai, we've conference call, remember the Sharma deal."

"Oh yes..." He stood up briskly completely opposite to what he had earlier and looked towards our guests "Make yourself comfortable. I'll be back."

I gaped at him aghast. It's like he came alive only after hearing Aakashji words. If he hear the mere word work or deal he turns Zestful.

I sighed but nonetheless a full fledged smile adorned my face hearing praises for my husband.

As much as I loved to explore my husband characteristics, I know you're all jealous seeing our bond. Don't be, else Devimaiyya will sue you like my arnavji does. So, this is me signing off hoping that I entertained you well enough. Keep smiling always. Be happy...
