It was mid-summer, which meant it was pretty hot outside. During summertime, people usually enjoyed foods such as lemonade and watermelon. A summer favorite seemed to be ice cream, many people going to shops to buy the product.

Ice cream was Elizabeth's favorite food, if it could even be considered that. The problem was, she had gotten ice cream banned from the household, due to her poor behavior.

Elizabeth was seven years old, and was quite small for her age. She had long, strawberry-blonde hair, which stopped around her waist. She had bright green eyes which were adorned by long eyelashes.

She was a troubled child. She had trouble listening to simple directions, which always made things harder. One of her worst qualities was that she was very talkative, and loud. It could've been because she was a middle child. Although, she was very outgoing and bubbly.

She would stop at nothing for ice cream, though. Even though it wasn't allowed in the house, she would always try to find ways to sneak it in. Occasionally, she was allowed to have some, but then everyone was reminded how bad her manners were.

Since it was summer, her begging was extra loud and annoying. All of her friends would poke fun at her because she wasn't allowed to have ice cream.

"Daddy, can we please get ice cream on the way home?!" Elizabeth squealed, causing William to sigh in annoyance. She had been begging for ice cream the whole car ride.

"I already said no." He replied, trying to stay as calm as possible.

William was in his early thirties. He was tall and slim, and appeared to be well kept. He had deep brown hair, contrasted by icy blue eyes. He was originally from England, which provided him with an accent.

He had a short temper, and was generally an irritable person. He was never in a good mood. So much so, that if he was, it raised red flags. His moods were rarely consistent. He was good at carrying conversations, which was probably why he was a successful businessman.

"I want ice cream!" Elizabeth sobbed, louder than her previous pleas. He sighed again, resisting the impulse to pull the car over.

"Liz, honey, can you please calm down?" Lea calmly requested, making Elizabeth pout. She smiled softly at her daughter, before sitting normally in her seat.

"You're to lenient with her."

"She's sensitive." William rolled his eyes, focusing back on the road. He didn't agree with his wife's way of parenting, but there was nothing her could do about it.

Lea was short, to put it simply. She was at least ten inches shorter than William, which gave them a considerable height difference. Her hair was honey blonde, and was long enough to reach the middle of her back. She had olive colored eyes, similar to Elizabeth.

She was generally a happy and optimistic person, which competed with William's personality. There was no doubt that they had a strong relationship, but they had more conflicts than what would be considered normal.

"I want ice cream! Please!" Elizabeth begged, making her siblings cover their ears. She was louder than usual, but if she wanted something, she wouldn't give up until she either got whatever she requested, or until something bad happened.

"Elizabeth, shut up!" Michael yelled, trying to be louder than her, which was near impossible. "You're being obnoxious."

Michael was the oldest, and he was barely fourteen. He looked very similar to William, sharing the same hair color. Michael's eyes weren't as light as his father's, but they were still blue. They shared a lot of physical features, but their personalities would say different.
