**re-written**
William woke up early in the morning, due to a loud coughing sound. He rubbed his eyes before sitting up and seeing that Lea was no longer in bed. Sighing, he got up to find where she went, not like it mattered.
Another cough was heard, it sounded like it was filled with mucus. He followed the sound to Michael's room, seeing that he was in bed, sick.
"What's wrong with him?" William inquired blankly, no emotion present in his voice.
"He's got some chest cold or something." Lea replied, giving Michael some sort of medicine.
"You're not going to take him to a doctor?"
"I was planning on going later," She informed, standing up and stretching. "I thought you didn't trust doctors?"
"I don't. I just don't want whatever he has."
"Well, you probably already have it." He glared at her before turning to leave. "Oh, can you go to the store for me today?"
"You know I don't like stores, right?" She nodded.
"It's either go or stay here and take care of him."
"I assume you expect me to bring Elizabeth as well?"
"It doesn't matter if you want to, she's going to find a way to make you take her." William sighed, rubbing his temples.
"You know how troubling this is?" Lea shrugged, glancing over at Michael, who seemed to have fallen back asleep.
"No, not really."
"I hope the car crashes on the way to the store." He said sarcastically before leaving the room, going back into his own to get dressed.
When he finished, he opened to bedroom door. Elizabeth was on the other side, patiently waiting. He sighed before walking past her. She ran after him, almost causing him to trip down the stairs.
Elizabeth quickly put on her shoes, struggling to tie them. William looked at her with confusion, wondering how she didn't know how to tie her shoes. He watched her struggle for another minute, before crouching down to help her.
"I want mommy to tie my shoes!"
"She's not available right now." William told her, reaching for her foot. She pulled it away and crossed her arms. "Don't be so bothersome."
"You don't tie them right!"
"This would be a problem if you weren't so incompetent." He mumbled, standing up. She fidgeted with the laces before giving up, crying.
"My shoes!" Elizabeth wailed, sitting on the floor. William stared at her before going back upstairs, finding Lea.
"I am not going to the store with her."
"I'm scared to ask why." Lea laughed to herself quietly, waiting for him to answer.
"She won't let me tie her shoes."
"What?" She said, bursting out into laughter, making his ears turn red. "That's ridiculous!"
"Why would I go the store with someone who can't complete a simple task." Lea only laughed harder, which made the heat from his ears travel to his face.
"You're funny."
"I don't think it's very comical." She smiled at him, walking past him to go downstairs. He was reluctant to follow, as he didn't want to go to the store.
"Liz, please let him tie your shoes." Elizabeth shook her head, turning around so she wasn't facing them.
"Don't be such a cunt." William mumbled, making Lea glare at him.
