The atmosphere felt heavy, almost dreadful, as William was sent into a state of panic. The room seemed as if it was spinning. The only thing he could hear was the sound of his racing heartbeat and rapid breathing. Suddenly, he became lightheaded and dizzy, nearly passing out.

He could hear Lea saying something, but couldn't make out what it was. But just as quickly as it started, it seemed to stop. The clock signaled it was only a few minutes later, although, it felt like ages.

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" Lea screamed, covering her face with her hands. She seemed scared, even though  she's seen him have plenty of panic attacks, you'd think she'd be used to it by now.

"Are you really-." He was cut off by the ding of his cellphone, and on it, was a message from his mother.

It said- I took the children out for breakfast, if you're wondering why your car isn't there. We'll be back in a few hours!

"Are you okay, you seem out of it." Lea pointed out, walking closer and bringing him into an embrace. At this point, he was to drained to shrug her off.

"You have to be joking, right?" She looked confused at his question, but remembered what the whole problem was about.

"Why would I joke about something like this?" That was enough of an answer for him. He glanced down at the box, looking at what was inside.

"Are you sure there isn't a mistake?"

"That's the third one I took." She admitted, her heart sinking in her chest. As much as she didn't want to admit it, she was scared. She wasn't sure either of them were ready for another child.

"There's no way it's mine. The last time we did anything like that was years ago." Lea avoided his gaze, knowing he probably didn't want to hear any of this right now.

"You were drinking, and one thing led to the next..."

"So you knowingly did 'things' with an intoxicated person?" She didn't want to admit it, she didn't want to admit any of it.

"I guess I was just happy that you tolerated me." William was enraged, and even that was an understatement.

"Are you stupid? Just because somebody's drunk doesn't mean they're giving you consent!" Lea had tears streaming down her cheeks. She wasn't really upset, she just hated when he yelled at her.

"I-"

"Lea, I don't want to hear it." She flinched at the way he said her name, it sound as if it was laced with poison. He angrily left the room, separating himself before he made the issue worse.

William grabbed the keys to his other car, deciding he wanted to go somewhere else. Getting into the car, he sighed, thinking about everything he was just told. He started to drive, not anywhere in particular though. Just anywhere away from there.

He eventually found a little bookstore, which he thought would be a good place to be left alone. He walked in, noticing it was busier than he thought, but still found a pretty secluded area. At this point, he didn't care what people were thinking about him, it didn't matter.
