The summer evening was setting in. The golden sun was glowing through the curtains in the living room. The house was properly cooled, so it was very comfortable. The children were at bible camp, much to William's disagreement. This was an over night one, so they were there for the weekend.

Lea and William were sitting on the couch watching television, when the phone started ringing.

"Is that yours or mine?" William asked, Lea reached to her side, and looked at her phone.

"Yours." She looked at him, frantically searching for the noisy device.

"Where the Hell...got it." He mumbled, as he answered the phone.

"Hello?"

"Oh it's so nice to talk to you again."

"You're not coming over, mum. That's the last time I'm telling you."

"Oh, but William. I'm already at the airport. I need somebody-" He ended the phone call and placed it on the coffee table. Lea looked at him, puzzled. He was now slightly annoyed. There was no way in Hell he was letting this woman into his house. Lea scooted closer and sat on his legs. Her back against the arm of the couch, her legs resting horizontally on the couch.

"Who was that?" She asked, looking at him. He rested his arm on her thighs. He sighed, not making a point at all to go pick her up.

"Take a wild guess." He knew, that she knew who it was. She didn't understand why he had such a problem with his mom. She thought she was a wonderful woman.

"Why don't you like your mom? She's very kind."

"She just annoys me." Lea punched his arm, playfully of course.

"That's no reason to not like someone!" She scolded, making his look at her. He gave her an unimpressed look. Making her pout, and cross her arms.

"Aww, did I make the baby upset?" He teased, because she reminded him of a child.

"Daddy why..?" She played along until William burst out laughing. Her face turned red.

"Oh my gosh!" William laughed at her, laughed so much, he started crying.

"That's not what I meant!" She argued, but that didn't change his mind. His laughter started to calm down, but didn't stop.

"I'm only messing with you." He said, still chuckling, which eventually stopped. She was still pouting, like a child, but she was pretending to be angry. William flicked her in the forehead. Which made her smile.

*hic*

Lea looked at William, who looked back at her, concern in his eyes.

*hic*

"Why is this happening?" He asked her. Now if was her turn to laugh.

"You don't know what hiccups are?!" She screamed at him, he shook his head.

"I though you could only get then when your drunk... What did you put in my water?"

"You can get them from laughing, too. Which I would much rather you have, then them being from alcohol." He crossed his arms in protest. Which made her laugh more.

"I'd rather have alcohol..." Lea looked at him, knowing that he would much rather have alcohol. They were interrupted when his phone rang again.

"I'm not getting it. I'm actually done with that bitch." Lea reached over and got the phone,  answering it.

"Hello?"
