(Not really relevant to the timeline as of now, but people wanted to know so...)

Something that has always bothered Lea about William was his fear of dogs. Yes, dogs. You would think with all of the horrid things that he's done, he wouldn't be scared of anything, let alone dogs! She could understand to a certain point to how scary a dog could be, like with rabies, or some violent nature. But, that wasn't even close to his problem. He was scared of even little puppies! (see Joy)

She has always wanted a dog, and she was even told that it could be used as a type of therapy. But there was no way that was going to happen if he couldn't even look at one without having a panic attack, or something close to it. So, she was going to figure out what was really going on.

He had given her a pretty vague description of why this was an issue, but not to any extent to where she could help him! Lea glanced down to the puppy curled up on the floor. She was very surprised that he hadn't done anything to the poor thing yet.

It jumped up on the couch next to her, and curled up on her lap. She petted it with a smile, thinking about what could a dog do that could cause this kind of trauma? There was no way an animal like this could cause a murderer that much discomfort, and even that wasn't a proper description!

"Why is that on the couch?" Lea immediately snapped back into reality, realizing William had come into the living room, and was standing across the room away from the dog.

"Because he is such a good boy!" She said to the dog, making it wag it's tail.

"Okay? But wasn't there a rule that I would let it stay if it didn't go on the furniture?" She glanced over at the puppy, who was covering it's face with it's paws. Smiling sadly, she looked back over to William, who had his arms crossed, and looked quite annoyed.

"What is your problem with dogs, like, seriously?" He looked offended, more than any normal person should've looked.

"Obviously you don't understand my traumatic experience."

"You have dozens of 'traumatic experiences'." She mocked him, making him look even more annoyed, if that was even possible.

"You really want to hear it, don't you?" She nodded enthusiastically, releasing the dog and inviting him to sit down, which he was reluctant to at first.

"To give you some context, look." He tilted his head slightly to point out a very noticeable scar on his neck.

"What the hell? Why haven't you said anything about this before!"

"I would assume you've already seen it, apparently you were too in the mo-"

"Okay that's enough!" Lea screamed, cutting him off. He rolled his eyes at her, making her smile back. She showed him that she was ready for him to continue, which took him a couple seconds.

"Long story short, I was a kid, and there was a dog in our backyard. I went to pet it and it bit me. I almost died!" She looked at him, kind of confused. How can you almost die from a bite, blood loss maybe?

"It punctured my trachea (air tubes), and it ruptured a lot of my lymph nodes." She still seemed to be confused, not recognizing what most of that meant.

"My air tube got punctured, and my lymph nodes burst. So I couldn't breathe properly and now my body is bad at fighting infections. That's pretty bad, but if you count the blood loss then I guess it's even more deadly." Lea wasn't confused at the concept anymore, she was only confused at why he didn't think so much of it.

"Oh Hun...you should've told me." William looked away from her, knowing she cared.

"But you could've just respected my wish of not wanting a dog." She glared at him for a minute, before realizing that he was absolutely correct.
