It was a few weeks after the whole stalker ordeal, and although it was a traumatic experience, Lea and William's relationship was stronger because of it. They simply tolerated each other more.

Currently, it was somewhere around three in the morning, and the both of them were still up. There wasn't really any reason why.

William's phone rang, but he payed no attention to it, since it was an unknown number. It rang a few more times, displaying the same number as before.

"Who ever that is really wants to talk to you." Lea sarcastically stated, smiling.

"You want me to answer it?" She nodded. The next time the phone rang he answered, answering with a confused 'hello'. As the conversation went on, his mood changed. He hung up the phone and turned to Lea.

"My dads coming down from England." Lea looked at him surprised. She barely got to hear about his dad, but she's never seen a picture of him before.

"Is your relationship with your dad similar to your moms?"

"No. I like my dad way more than I like my mom," he explained, "I haven't seen him in ages though."

"You never talk about him." She thought out loud, glancing over at William.

"That's because I haven't spoken to him in a long time. He also wasn't around very much in my childhood."

"Why not?"

"He divorced my mom then moved away. I would see him on holidays and birthdays." Lea looked at him with pity, feeling bad that his dad wasn't around. She could relate in a way, since her dad wasn't really around either.

"Are you excited that he's coming?"

"I think that excited is an overstatement, I'm just looking forward to seeing him." Lea smiled at him. She liked it when he was in a good mood.

"Why is he calling you so late at night?"

"It's morning time over there." She hummed in response, forgetting for a second that time zones existed. She was too busy paying attention to his happiness.

"When is he coming down?"

"He said sometime next week."

"Isn't that short notice?" He chuckled.

"It's longer notice than my mum." Lea smiled at him, finally laying down to go to sleep. William copied the action and let her lay close.

"Goodnight Love." He whispered, wrapping his arm around her. She hummed and kissed him on the cheek.

A few days passed, and with those few days came more phone calls from William's dad. The most recent call was to inform them that he was on his way to the airport, getting ready for the departure.

"When is he supposed to get here?" Lea asked, getting impatient because it has been hours since his last call.

"I don't know, sometime soon. I don't want him to show up in the middle of the night." She hummed in agreement, knowing that that would happen.

"He should be here around noon, right?" William shrugged. Lea was getting anxious because she's never met his dad before. To say the least she was excited.

"Love you should calm down." Lea looked at him confused. "Do you want to go take a walk?" She thought about it for a moment before nodding. The kids were at school, so they had plenty of time to do whatever.

They went outside, not bothering to put on jackets, since it was getting warmer outside. They walked down the sidewalk, taking in the much needed fresh air. Lea never went outside by herself anymore, scared that something bad would happen again.
