The Autumn breeze blew through the trees, rustling what was left on the trees, and moving the dead leaves that had fallen to the ground. It was early, around 3:00am early.

William woke up, because he suddenly got very cold. He started to get out of bed, but decided it wasn't a good idea, because he was shaking violently, which was puzzling. He laues back down, and tried to ignore the cold, which wasn't very successful, but he was able to go back to sleep, at least.

Morning came quickly, quicker than expected, though. William was woken up, because of a loud screech. Only one person was able to screech that loud, so it goes without saying.

In contrast to last night, it was now excessively warm. He was getting stressed, because he didn't want to be sick, there was no time for that. His thoughts were interrupted when somebody came into the room.

"Oh, you're finally up." It was Lea, and for some reason she had come to check on him.

"What's her problem today?" His question was completely ignored, only because she was so focused on how painful it sounded to talk.

"Are you okay, Hon?"

"Why wouldn't I be okay?"

"You sound like you're dying." She exaggerated, not by much though, he really sounded terrible. She moved closer and placed her hand on his forehead, which caused him to instinctively back away.

"You're hot." She mumbled, referring to the temperature, but she didn't realise what it sounded like until after.

"Thank you." He replied sarcastically, making her sigh to herself.

"You know what I meant." She scolded, but smiled shortly after. It was quite calm, only until somebody screeched again. William started to get up, but was stopped when Lea touched his shoulder.

"You should go back to sleep, I'll handle her."

"I highly doubt that." He remarked, which made her want to try harder. She left the room shortly after, leaving him in silence.

"Mommy why?!" Elizabeth's screams seemed to get clearer, and William hoped she wasn't going to bother him with her petty wants. Sure enough, Elizabeth burst through the doorway.

"What Elizabeth." He was clearly annoyed, only because whatever Elizabeth was there for, it was going to be stupid.

"I want to go to the pumpkin patch! Mommy doesn't want to take me!"

"Elizabeth, I'm ill, maybe another day."

"No! Today! All the pumpkins will be gone if we don't go soon!" As much as William hated giving her what she wanted, she was t going to stop until they went.

"Tell your mum to come here." As soon as he finished, Elizabeth was out of the room, and returned shortly after, where she was asked to leave.

"You really agreed to her?"

"Do I have a choice? It's either that or hear her cry for the rest of the day."

"I don't have a problem taking her, I just don't drive." She wasn't lying. For some odd reason, Lea always refused to drive, claiming its and 'irrational fear'.

"So you're going to make me do it, even though I'm ill?"

"I'm going too, so I don't know what you're talking about." Lea argued, walking out of the room to tell the children to change their clothes. Lea returned shortly after, gathering clothes to wear, and throwing some at William.
