**heavily edited**It was early morning, somewhere around six. The sun was staring to shine through the white curtains in the bedroom. The alarm set on the phone wailed again, annoying the sleeping body beside it. It was shut off quickly, and probably for the last time.
William rubbed his eyes, trying to wake himself up. It was especially hard since he went to sleep around three, yet another sleepless night. He looked over to his left, to see that Lea wasn't there. It was odd, since he thought it was Saturday.
He made his way to the bathroom, and looked in the mirror. His already short, messy hair, looked even messier. He had bags under his eyes, and he was quite pale. He almost looked dead. He groaned as he left the bathroom.
He walked downstairs to see everyone dressed, and eating breakfast. He was confused. Lea turned around from finishing the dishes, and looked at him sadly.
"Are you sure you don't want to see a doctor, Hun?" She knew how much he hated doctors, it annoyed him that she kept asking. She walked over to him and started messing with his hair. He swatted her hand away, not liking the attention.
"Why are you up so early?" He asked, annoyed.
"It's Wednesday. Why are you up so late?"
"Are you sure?" William asked, confused.
"Yeah? Don't you have a business meeting today?"
"Shit." He muttered as he went back upstairs to fix his appearance. He put on nicer clothes, which consisted of his usual work attire.
"I'm leaving now."
"Take your medicine." She said, short and simple. He ignored her and continued to walk towards the door, only stopping when a hand gripped his wrist. He turned around to see Lea, with a very stern look on her face. He ripped his wrist out of her grip, grabbed his keys, and left.
"What's the deal with his medicine?" Michael asked curiously.
"He's just very unstable without it." She told her son, a caring smile visible on her face.
"What do you mean?"
"It's not my place to tell you." She said, avoiding the question.
"Has he ever hurt you?" She recoiled, which probably gave more of an answer than words would.
"Michael just finish your breakfast. The bus comes soon."
Michel sighed, as he already knew the answer. In fact, it was obvious. There were footsteps coming down the stairs. Chris and Elizabeth walked into the kitchen shortly after the footsteps stopped.

There was quite a bit of traffic on the way, which annoyed William. He was already running behind, and traffic sure didn't make it any better. He called the other business that he was meeting, and they told him it was no big deal. Relieved, he relaxed.
After his phone call, he received another one. He connected it to the car, since he wasn't in the mood to get pulled over.
"Hello?"
"Hey, hon."
"Do you need something?" He asked bitterly.
"It worries me that you don't take your pills."
"Why does it concern you?"
"Because I love you." He cringed at her words, letting out an awkward laugh.
"Why are you laughing?"
"'Because I love you'." He mocked, "You're such a liar, Lea."
"We both know it helps you, so why do you refuse to take it?"
