It was Wednesday, four days after Janet had been murdered. William decided to take a few days off of work, just in case anything else were to happen, and due to the children being off from school. The children didn't know about Janet's death, which was for the better. But eventually somebody would report her missing.

William woke up due to the children getting up, but not for school, since it was spring break. They were just being loud today, which made him quite annoyed. He decided to get up though, since there was no point going back to bed.

He stretched, and headed downstairs to take his medication. Lea noticed him walk into the kitchen, and smiled at him. She was still unsettled about the whole murder thing, but she couldn't do anything about it. It happened, it's done with.

"Good Morning!" He didn't respond to her, he just looked over at her. She smiled again, but this time, it was sad. He needed to go to the doctor, but then the doctor would ask a bunch of questions, useless really. So she had already cancelled the appointment, like he would go anyway.

She was making breakfast, which she knew he probably didn't want any. She had noticed he didn't eat if somebody else made it, which she thought was suspicious.

"Do you want anything to eat this morning?"

"No, I'm fine." She shook her head at him.

"Why won't you eat anything? You're going to get sick."

"I do eat." He corrected her, which she then realised she phrased the question wrong.

"I meant that you won't eat if somebody else gave it to you. Do you think I'm trying to hurt you?"

"And why would you think that?" He said as he put the bottle of pills back into the cabinet, then crossing his arms and looked at her.

"Just eat with us today, please?" He sighed in annoyance at the request, but he complied, and nodded. She smiled at him, knowing that he had only agreed because there was no point in arguing. She continued to make breakfast, which was raspberry Crêpes. They were done in about 25 minutes, and she called down the children to eat.

"Yay, breakfast!" Elizabeth squealed as she ran down the stairs, which turned into a tumbling, because she tripped and fell. Which then excitement turned into screaming. Lea glanced over at William, who was staring over at the stairs, in annoyance.

"You're not going to go anything?" She said, snapping him back into reality.

"What? Doing anything about what?"

"Elizabeth fell down the stairs, where were you?" He looked at her, slightly confused. He was disconnected from reality for a minute, absorbed into the fake reality that played in his mind.

"I was just...thinking, I guess." He muttered, thinking that was the easiest way to explain it, knowing she probably wouldn't understand. She nodded, and went to help Elizabeth, who was crying, but she wasn't bleeding.

"Michael pushed me!" She screamed, trying to blame her own mistake on her brother, who does have a history of pushing.

"I did not! You tripped!" Michael raised his voice, throwing his hands into the air. Lea only nodded, and helped Elizabeth up. Who, immediately stopped crying and ran into the kitchen to get breakfast. Michael stared at his mother, who almost burst out laughing, due to the act that her daughter had made up.

They had finished breakfast soon after, and the children scurried to continue whatever they were doing before breakfast. Elizabeth ran upstairs, for a quick minute, and rushed back down with her dolls. Why did she insist on playing in the living room?
