Jee couldn't help but sweat even more, she walked restlessly, passed the grocery section. Reaching the drinks section, she pulled out a bottle of water, drinking a whole litre of it.

"Ummm, excuse miss? Are you alright?"

The cashier approached her, hoping to help her out in some way possible.

"I'm-I'm-"

Jee's eyes widened, the moment she saw the man walking towards the store.

"H-help m-me, please-"
Jee let a soft cry, scared of the man slowly approaching for the door.

Seeing how nervous and scared Jee was, the girl tugged her to the counter table, making her sit underneath it.

"Just hide here, I'll cover you up-"

Jee crouched down, seated on the floor, her arms wrapped around her knees, pulling it close to her chest. Her heart helding onto that tiny hope of fate.

When the man entered, the girl casually wished him, showing no signs of obvious actions.

"Welcome sir, is there something that you'd like to buy?"

He cleared his throat, observing every single section of the store. He walked for some minutes around and came back to the cashier girl.

"Have you seen a girl, run passed by this store?"

"No, sir, I haven't."

"Are you sure?"

The man leaned his lower abdomen against the wooden counter, as his hands pressed on the counter table, closing up the gap between them.

"Yes, I am sure."

The girl did not even budge at his threatening charge, instead, she stared at him, one consisting of vexation and of an honest dissentment.

The man was surprised by her courageous look, he couldn't help but noticed how rude she was just staring at him.

"Do you, perhaps know me?"

"No, I don't sir"
She gave him a reluctant smile, making it obvious for him to notice.

"You remind me of  someone I used to know-"

The man spoke, and just as he was about to grab her chin, his hands pulled back when a customer barged in.

"Jee!"
Namjoon called out, making Jee to panicked in her position. A heavy feeling of terror overtook her mind, her chest tightened up, anxiety taking control over her body. Jee couldn't breathe well, it's as though her life was about to end abruptly, in that moment.
