Jace and Clary- Their Future

Dress Shopping

As soon as Clary woke up she called Magnus. She was hoping that today he would be in a better mood and do her a little favor. He picked up, "Hello?" Magnus said into the phone. "Hey Magnus it's Clary can I ask a huge favor?" She asked hoping that he would be willing. "Ya I guess what do you need?" He asked. "Well I was hoping that around two o' clock you could open a portal for Maia to come?" He sighed and chuckled slightly. "Ya okay I guess I could do that" Clary let out a deep breath and replied back, "Thank you so much Magnus you're the best.." But he had already hung up. Only one thing left to do. Make sure Maia wants to come. 

Maia answered after only two rings. "Hey!" She said into the phone. "Hey Maia I was wondering if you wanted to come to Alicante for like three days. I already got Magnus to set up a portal for you at two" She really hoped Maia would come. She really wants her to be another one of her bridesmaids and wants her to be there when she gets her dress. "Ya sure I would love to! But why?" She asked. Clary smiled, "Because.." she said happily, "I want you to be one of my bridesmaids with Izzy, Emma, Helen, and Aline!" She heard Maia scream through the phone. "Yessss of course I will see you at two fifteen at the gate! Ahhh I can't wait! See you in a little bit!" She said before hanging up the phone. Clary put her phone down and stretched out before heading downstairs for breakfast. 

"Good morning Clary" Izzy and Emma said when she entered the kitchen. "Good morning! I have good news!" She said while grabbing a bowl and some cereal. "What?" Izzy was the first to ask. "Maia is coming at two o'clock to come dress shopping with us because she is gonna also be a bridesmaid!" She said. "The werewolf?" Emma asked. "Yes the werewolf" Clary replied back. "Yay!" Izzy yelled. "This is gonna be so much fun!" They all talked about what style dress Clary should get and ate their breakfast. 

"Are you guys coming with me to get Maia or should her and I meet you guys at the dress shop?" Clary asked Izzy and Emma. "Uh.." Izzy thought about it for a moment. "I have to shower and get ready so Emma and I will meet you at the shop. Is that okay?" Clary nodded but then realized it was one fourty five and had to go. She can't be late picking up Maia. "Alright I'll meet you guys there. See ya!" And she walked out the door shutting the door behind her. 

As Clary sits and waits for Maia she thinks about the last time she was in Alicante. It was horrible. So many people died, including Max. But she couldn' think about that now. She has to focus on finding a wedding dress and getting married to Jace. Then a figure showed up next to her. It was Maia. "Clary!!" Maia yelled and gave her a huge hug. "I've missed you! Thank you so much for letting me come!" Clary smiled, "No problem! Let's go we have to meet Izzy, Emma, Aline, and Helen at the dress shop in a half hour" And they continued down the path catching up since they haden't seen each other in so long. 

"Alright Izzy should be here any minute" Clary said to Maia. But as soon she said it everyone walked through the door. They all hugged and walked into the room. There were three dresses on manikins waiting for Clary. The first one wall a ballroom gown wih gold lace all over with a white base. The second one was a mermaid style dress with a sweetheart neckline wich was solid gold very plain and simple. The last one was another ballroom dress with layers at the bottom. "The last onr with the ruffles is really ugly!" Clary said softly to Maia and Isabelle. They all softly chuckled. 

Clary tried on the ruffled one first because she wanted to get it over with. It looked even worse on. It was huge and she thought that if she even attempted to walk down the aisle in this she would surely fall down. When she walked out to show everyone she started to laugh and so did everybody else. They all hated it so that one was automatically out. Next, she tried on the mermaid style. She liked it but didn't love this one either. It was too plain and made her look to scrawny she thought. "Aline liked it but she slowly realized that it wasen't as good when she put it on. But the last one was perfect. The flowly balloom dress flowed perfectly. She loved everything about it from the lace to the way it complimented her green eyes. "This is the one she said to everybody" They all loved it almost as much as she did. Especially Emma. She tried to hold back the tears but she just couldn't. It was beautiful. 

As they left the shop everybody talked about how beautiful Clary was going to look. Bu there was a suprise for her at the door. Her mother. "Mom!" She yelled as she went and gave her mother a hug. "Did you think I wasen't going to come and see your wedding dress?" She giggled. "Go put it on I want to see!" Jocelyn said. Clary went back into the changing room and put it back on. Her mother started crying as she saw Clary walk out of the fitting room with the dress on. "Oh Clary, It's so beautiful!" Since Jocelyn started crying so did Clary. They all stood there admiring Clary in her beautiful wedding dress.
